    What's "leftist" about Sesame Street? Learning to count and spell? :lol:

    And the tiny amount of government support it got early on meant that Sesame Street was NOT filled with songs and dances about the joys of Twinkies, and the usual commercial bias of NOT wanting children to learn anythign, the better to program them to be be good corporate consumers.

    Which is why Republicans HATE actual education for the young like Sesame Street, and prefers to give kids "programming and propaganda".

    I hate PBS.

    Yes, let's let libs pay for Big Bird themselves instead of making the rest of America support their network.

    Romney needs to get rid of sesame street to double the military budget although the Pentagon hasn't requested it ...

    The Iraq War was a great example of these govt subsidies you're talking about.

    Depends ... to actually believe Romney subsidized his campaign with Big Bird to come-in for a big debate win is quite amazing ... wouldn't you say ?

    Umm...let's see here. National Security vs Big Bird. That's a tough one. Let me think about it another way. Life without a strong military vs. Life without Big Bird. I'm going to have to think about this one...

    What has big bird got to do with the election You have to be pretty bored talking about big bird and yet here I am writing a comment. Lets talk about jobs and more on topic why should my tax dollars pay for a liberal radio station.
