So why have we not found oil where the abiogenic theory said there would be oil?

What in the world does liberal or conservative have to do with oil exploration and extraction or ROI?

Yeah but isn't it fun to learn how whacked out and unscientific theories can get?

So which has more of an effect? Current supply or future supply. I would argue that current supply has the greater effect because it is a pretty good indicator of future supply/surplus.

I think it's funny how you don't even know how to spell capitalism...

Margot, this infers you are a chemical engineer and we know better. When I'm asked this, generally I say "I'm a third grade drop out, that drove a truck and now retired".

Think lady, people, governments invest in anything they feel will make them money. I've invested in Alternative Energy Companies for years, did earn a profit, got out when "First Solar" hit 100.00/share. SA is also investing in GE's water desalting program, but the planets not going to run out of fresh water....or is it.

Moderators; Think your science forum would have been a better place to drop this thread.

I hope Mr. Corsi will expose a coverup of real money growing trees. I could sure use a few of those.

IN some part of the world yes, in the more tech advanced country no. We have filtration and purification technology for a while now.

The poorer and most numerous country will suffer badly and many will die. This in essence will reduce the strain of over population, just like when an epidemic kills off part of a population in the wild. In the end it leaves more ressources for the survivors and the cycle continues.

Then explain how methane and other hydro-carbons have been found on other planets? Plus the planet recently discovered that scientists think is made up entirely of diamond?

That's why new technology is needed and must continue to be advanced. This windmill water condenser is a good example. Fresh water and power to remote areas? Double win.

Everybody knows that when Jesus comes back, he's going to bring enough oil to power the V8s of the faithful for the rest of eternity. Not only will he save us, he will also save our hemis. Praise Jesus!!

Oh! Wow! I suppose that is all right then - so long as it is not Americans who are dying.

As for your vaunted filtration systems - they are not going to meet the needs of your bigger cities if the climate changes enough

Big cities are already using water treatment and purification installation.
And BTW, I'm not an American...
