Fort Worth Police Shoot And Kill 72-Year-Old Who Checked On His Neighbor

May 30, 2013 by Ben Bullard

Jerry Wayne Waller, a 72-year-old who lived in east Fort Worth, Texas, heard his neighbor’s security alarm going off early Tuesday morning. He lived in an area where most people knew their neighbors, as well as others who lived down the street. So he went outside his house to see what was going on.

But the Dallas-Fort Worth police had already arrived to take care of things. They didn’t let Waller leave his own property alive.

    From yesterday’s CBS-DFW television report:

The 72-year-old man didn’t even make it to the house across the street before he was shot. He died on his own property.

Waller reportedly was armed at the time — presumably a precaution before venturing into a potentially dangerous situation, however unlikely it might have seemed. But the police presence raised the potential for danger considerably.

“We heard five shots,” said Becky Haskin, a former Fort Worth city council member who lives in the area. “They were just rapid-fire; one after the other.”

A spokesman for the police department said the officers “felt threatened by the man with the handgun and he was shot.”

At the scene after the killing, Haskin said the badged offenders were “sobbing uncontrollably and very distraught.”

Viewed from a distance, those among the Dallas-Fort Worth police who’ve perpetrated this and similar crimes must be among the most trigger-happy and skittish cops the whole of America’s municipal police population has to offer.

On Wednesday — i.e., only one day ago — we shared the story of the latest civilian death at the department’s hands, that of 350-pound asthmatic Jarmaine Darden, whom DFW cops shot with a Taser, from couch to floor, three times before he stopped breathing and died. That killing marked the fifth documented time DFW police have killed someone with a Taser since 2001.

Haskin said Waller and his wife were good neighbors who always took pride in their community.

“They are just a nice retired couple that loved working in their yard, having family over, and grandkids.”

No police were hurt in Waller’s killing.

Wow. She's lucky they didn't show up to continue her assault on those poor wilting violets. Assault is pretty bad, I'm guess the bastion of government authority tired out his wrist during the beating. He'll probably have to go on disability at taxpayer expense. If backup had arrived, such major injuries to that downtrodden civil servant could have been prevented. She's a vicious criminal and I hope they lock her away for many years; at taxpayer expense, of course.

Not only that, think about the cops family. I bet their horrified right now. What if that woman had a gun? What if that woman was doing a harsh, illegal drug? Who knows what might have happened then. I'm sure the cops family would have appreciate a few more cops there. That would've really showed her whose boss.

I wonder if the cops family will start up an online donate fund, to give to this poor man. Had the woman just laid there and took the beating, the cop never would've hurt himself. An unnecessary injury, one that will probably be with him for the rest of his life.

Not really a 'Police State', per say. However, this is in regards to red light cameras in DC. This is what Anne McCartt, Senior Vice President At The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, said about generating over $85 million dollars, in FY12, with them:

Many people have varying views on this. The way I look at rights are they are inalienable to each individual. Only you have rights to your body & property. No law or person should be allowed to infringe on those rights, as they're not given to you by law or by person.

One of the best lines, that I follow along with, is my rights end where your rights begin. It's as simple as that.

Regrettably your government disagrees with you. But since Americans value "security" over freedom, I'd guess the 4th will go by the wayside soon enough.

There is some police and TSA brutallity now and then, but it is the propaganda by the media that amplifies these incidents as if the entire nation is a police state. All those listeners (tens of millions) are going to believe the nation is becoming (or is) a police state, and by that are going to resist, 'fight tyranny', so this group is revolutionized by that (fear mongering) propaganda. So they can be organized much easier than non-revolutionized people. People that are kept in fear and resist a 'police state' (deception) can be organized politically. This organisation can lead to a totalitarian system eventually (that is if more and more people buy into the deception propaganda) But ofcourse the system can increase the numbers of violent police officers (with money they can buy violent persons into branches of power, this is called corruption) The organisation of sheriffs is also going on (because all kinds of changes and problems occur one after the other that leads to resistance in many citizens (voters) and/or cause political change (a thirth party (TP) has emerged over the last decade, this shows you that that propaganda works)

so you admit the Lib propaganda is failing. there are many incidents that never make it to the public domain. Kinda hard to misrepresent that which is caught by the camera. All one has to do is trawl the internet for "anecdotal incidents" to see there are thousands upon thousands of these "propaganda" videos, some even shot by the cops themselves.................... .
do watch it all the way through.............

What's sad is this type of mentality is why folks are living in the society that everyone is. This whole notion of it being 'propaganda', this entire thread shows proof that it's not propaganda, that this type of stuff occurs all the damn time. Police have taken their authority way too far and it needs to stop. It might not necessarily be a 'Police State', per say, but it's certainly instilling a fear within folks that if you step out of line, the cops will use their badge and authority to lock you up and destroy your lives. Then, if you chose to resist, they will beat the living S out of you.

Folks simply wish to ignore the reality they're living in, call everyone else nut jobs, and go back to their lives as if America is still this great nation that it once was. Maybe you haven't been watching the news and how all of those 'tin foil hat' folks and those 'Big Brother conspiracy theorists' actually have some validity now. Top that off when police officers simply abuse their power, it's not hard to figure out that this isn't propaganda, this is real, and it's happening, right now, in America. Folks need to take a quick drink of Folgers because their slogan says it best:

It will not stop unless and until citizens start dropping the hammer on bad cops. It's quite simple: they are bullies, and the only thing bullies understand is FORCE. A .243 or .22-250 through the brain from a half mile would definitely qualify.

German Bosque Arrested: 'Florida's Dirtiest Cop' Charged With Kidnapping Man Who Wanted To File Brutality Complaint

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_3405593.html

MIAMI -- A notorious former Opa-Locka Police sergeant dubbed "Florida's Dirtiest Cop" has been arrested for kidnapping a man who wanted to file a police brutality complaint against him.

German Bosque, 49, turned himself in to Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials Friday afternoon and was being held without bond at Miami-Dade's main jail, according to an FDLE release.

Investigators say Bosque punched the victim in August 2011 while on duty, responding to a domestic call. When the man wanted to file a police brutality complaint at the Opa-Locka Police station, Bosque "forcefully escorted him from the lobby, handcuffed him and placed him into a holding area."

The victim was held against his will for a short time and was never provided an opportunity to file his complaint, according to the FDLE. As a result, Bosque has been charged with first degree felony kidnapping, tampering with a witness, and misdemeanor battery.

Bosque, who was finally terminated from OPD in October 2012, was famously the subject of a special investigative report by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune called "Unfit For Duty." The nine-part series published in December of 2011 examined the state's "flawed system of policing the police" -- with Bosque's long and violent rap sheet serving as Exhibit A.

Documents revealed that Bosque, who was still on the job, had been investigated by police 40 times. Sixteen of the investigations involved battery or other violence; he had also been accused of stealing a car, trying to board an airplane with a loaded gun, driving with a suspended license, and was also found with counterfeit money, cocaine, and crack pipes in his car.

Bosque had also been caught lying to police and falsifying reports multiple times........
According to the Miami Herald, Bosque has been arrested three times previously, and had been fired at least six times already -- including twice from other police departments before he was hired by Opa-Locka.

He has been appealing his October termination, given because officials discovered his city-issued AR-15 assault rifle and bulletproof vest were in the possession of his girlfriend's father.

“I'm not ashamed of anything, not ashamed of anything at all," he told CBSMiami at the time of the firing. "I’m very proud of the policeman that I am."

a cop who admits he loves being corrupt.............finally, one of them gets it right AND brags about it

    They are practically kids.

They might be qualified to write parking tickets, but home raids???? That is just insane!
