I find it interesting that Beck, Bundy, and Harry Reid are all Mormons who have nothing good whatsoever to say about each other. Glad we didn't elect Mitt.

Their "Purity Purge" ("get rid of the RINOs") can only have two results

1. They get stomped by the Establishment types and like a crazy aunt get shoved back into the attic and the GOP resumes sounding like a sane, rational, and NATIONAL party.

2. The "Purists" win...and the Party implodes like the Whigs and has to re-form years later as "The New Sane Republican Party", after the wackos go to their underground bunkers.

Like most of their "Bright Shiny Objects"....eventually there will be a resolution or just "nothing happening"....and after a week or two, they get bored and get fed some new "scandal" or "outrage" by Fox, Drudge, Talk Radio...

and suddenly THAT is "THE most important story of our lifetime!!!".....until 2-3 weeks pass, and that gets dull and they get fed a new one or re-hash an old one that has "legs" (they think) like "BENGHAZI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Good point. RIght winger attention spans are short so they need constant mental stimulation. Simple slogans repeated frequently are the tool their handlers use to keep them aroused and attached otherwise they're afraid they'll wander off attracted to some other shiny thing.

The Bundy thingy is the current but fading gold ring that's holding their attention but its not lasting. The right wing zoo keepers need to scramble quickly to create another scandal to keep their lemmings in line or they'll forget what they're angry against and start attacking each other again.

Example: Rightwingers as a pack of starving dogs: They don't have anything to eat so they attack each other ripping each other apart. Someone (Fox, Limbaugh) throws in a piece of meat and they turn their attention away from each other and devour the meat. Perfect analogy.

Seen it a hundred times, thousand times....they're told to get all "outraged" about something, told it's "THE most important story of our lifetime"...especially if it can also be claimed to be "the beginning of the end of lib'rulism" or "the return of conservatism to America".

It gets blog post after blog post.....fades....then some new "thing" captures their imagination and if you ask them about the "old thing", they usually respond with a "That's old news. We utterly defeated you lib'ruls...why not discuss the vastly more important topic of how Obama likes eggs over-easy, not scrambled like a REAL American? Don't wanna discuss that, do ya? Cuz it means yer boy is going down!!!"

Wait a few weeks (or less)...and they drop that.

Now you get some "reruns"...like I said..."Benghazi!"
