This reminds me of the situation where right wingers said President Obama was booed at a basketball game in Washington DC a few years ago. In fact he was CHEERED at the game and I watched it live - even the Fox network admitted he was cheered.

No mention of people leaving. No protest signs against President Obama - HUGE cheers when he spoke.
