Stupid Racist black liberal politicians push for slave reparations...

John Conyers, a black liberal congressman who represents the 14th district of Wayne County Michigan which includes Highland Park, the poorest city in Michigan, with a poverty rate near 40 percent. The Census bureau estimates that 20 to 25 percent of adults in the 14th district never finished high school.

Every congressional session since 1989, Congressman Conyers goes up to the House podium and introduces a bill for... reparations: "It is a fact that slavery flourished in the United States and constituted an immoral and inhumane deprivation of African slaves' lives, liberty, and cultural heritage. As a result, millions of African-Americans today continue to suffer great injustices."

Yes, reparations. When looking at the poverty in his district, Conyers fails to look at the failure of the domestic auto makers to remain competitive, a bloated local government that vastly overtaxes its citizens, the underperforming schools, lack of emphasis on education from far too many people in his district, the phenomenon of children having children, the negative effects of the war on drugs, and the viticrat mind-set that rejects personal responsibility. No, his district suffers from the lack of reparations for slavery....give us a break!

A few years ago, white rapper Eminem made a movie called "8 Mile", a reference to Eight Mile Road, which more or less divides the better area of Detroit from the downtrodden areas. In this area of Conyers's district, one cannot find a large retail store, and there is only one movie theater. It is filled with abandoned housing and overflows with criminals and drug addicts. Storefront after storefront stands empty or is boarded up, and graffiti-lined walls abound. Seventy percent of children here are born into single-parent households.

Immediately adjacent to Eight Mile lies East Dearborn, a bustling one-hundred-thousand-member Arab community. The Arab residents hail from all over the Middle East, and built a community with thriving grocers, stores, and restaurants. Despite some anti-Arab sentiment after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, in the next fourteen months twenty new businesses were opened on one three-mile stretch of road. The predominately working-class Arabs who call East Dearborn home truly seize and exemplify the American Dream. Police call crime in the Arab area tame compared to that of the black area of Eight Mile.

When asked to explain why the Arab area next to Eight Mile prospers and the black one suffers, Congressman Conyers replied, "Racism." This, of course, fails to explain the neighboring communities like Southfield, a prosperous suburb immediately northwest of Detroit that is 54 percent black. Nor does this explain Dearborn, a community that is 30 percent Arab.

So just who should be taxed to pay the Blacks? White people? Because most whites in America descended from Europeans that arrived after the end of Slavery. The whites in the North certainly did not own slaves, and even in the South 90% of the whites could not afford slaves. The inconvenient truth is that Jews were many times more likely than whites to own slaves in the South. Perhaps that means Jews should be taxed more to pay for the slave reparations?

The fact is that the Blacks that were alive a long time ago suffered injustice from people and local state governments that were also in the past. The people that oppressed these Blacks are long dead. The Blacks of today were never slaves, neither were any of their direct parents. Taxing people now to give money to other people, simply because they are from the Black race, will not do any justice to the the Blacks that were treated unfairly in the distant past.

But pushing for reparations is an easy way for politicians to get plenty of Black votes. Who wouldn't like free money?

But if Black people want to leave the USA to go start a new life in Africa, because the "legacies of slavery" are so intolerable, I am all in favor of reparations!

 

Yes, some of us have put up the names of those jews who dealt in slave trade and slave ownership, but the point of my OP is that no one should be paying modern day blacks for something that happened well before their time, and that this black liberal congressman from Michigan needs to concentrate on helping his black constituents find jobs, drop the crack pipe, meld the family unit, stay out of jail, and most of all to be responsible for their own lot in life. His district remains a hell hole precisely because he expects our tax dollars to bail him and his people out from another failed socialistic urban center. Can you believe that people keep voting this guy and others like Maxine Waters into office? SAD!

According to US Censors, there are about 38.9 Million African Americans in the United States as of 2010.

As a Authentic African American, I could probably go years before I could find someone I know who actually believes African Americans deserve, want or expect Slave Reparations from anyone. Of course, we all know, this subject comes up only from a handful of the 38.9 Million African Americans in The US and just gets under the skin of few Skin Heads.

But it is funny to watch a few Stupid Racist Black Liberal Politicians make a few Stupid White Racist whine like little girls …
