FALSE! "The dictionary" (Webster's New World College Dictionary, 4th ed.) defines a religion as a system of beliefs with a code of ethics. Islam is a code of UNethics containing just about every unethical practice anyone could think of (genocidal mass murder, severe misogyny, rape, discrimination against women, wife-beating, pedophilia, slavery, animal cruelty, torture/mutilation, etc. To call Islam a religion is simply preposterous.

It is obvious that you are in denial of the FACT that Islam is a supremacist ideology (masquerading as a religion). YOU are being silly and nonsensical by denying that Islam's supremacism is in violation of the US Constitution's Supremacy Clause (of course it is- that is a FACT, not a matter of opinion), as is it's violation of the Seditious Conspiracy law.

    18 USC ยง 2384 - Seditious conspiracy

"If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both."

And Islam is recognized as a religion by everyone but me ? HA HA HA. It is common knowledge that most people around the world do NOT accept Islam's masquerade as a religion.

    Correct.

I think that if we adhere closely to "Separation of Church and State" principles, we'll be okay. But as soon as we allow 'religion' to become or overly influence the law... we can say goodbye to true "...Liberty and Justice for All."...

Yes, major portions of it at least, with explanatory side text and forays on the web to look up historical references and alternate interpretations.

But then a few years back, I did that with every major Religion, and most of the minor ones, and even a few no longer practiced religions.

About 18 months of 4-6 hours a day of doing such. I was working out of town, and sleeping in an RV 3 nights to work 4 each 10 hours days, to cut down my commuting gas and driver wear/tear costs. I was missing my family and searching for a spiritual center and philosophy to make sense of the chaos going on around me.

I hate how the word processor of this site changes words as you type to the WRONG ones...

In the post you quoted, I mean to say "I am closest to a Wiccan Pagan, or perhaps a Budhist" but the word processor changed the word from "closest" to "closed" without even the courtesy of a red underline. I wouldn't mind, but it it often removes deliberate double-negatives which I include in some prose for aesthetic and/or dramatic reasons.

I am far more introspective and self-judged in my religious/spiritual beliefs that most of the people I know. I find I just don't have allot of need for Organized Religion. I now know my path.

But AA is still Growing, and under the Obama Administration, it is growing faster than ever before.

Not only has Obama created and entirely new Presidential Cabinet level Department of Diversity, without the review and consent of Congress such offices requires, but the ObamaCare bills institutes what amounts of a Panel of appointed "Race Czars" who will sit in judgement of colleges, universities and teach hospitals and other teach institutions ( military academies) on whether they have met suitable "Progress" in Diversity goals to be allowed further Federal Funding.

These new "Race Czars" are the biggest threat to our Constitution and Civil Liberties since the Alien and Sedition Acts.

The people of the Political Forums here seem dead set on ignoring the issue, but on other forums and particularly on many college and university campuses this is a more discussed issue than the recent IRS and NSA Scandals.

If you want to get quick links to just a few of the non-PF web articles about the issue, I posted excerpts and text from 18+ of them here:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...05-if-obamacare-worked-would-you-support.html

It may be something the Audience of this particular Political Forum has chosen to ignore, but it is a very large and important topic almost everywhere else.

The level of expansion of Racial Preferences in Obamacare is Staggering!

rammstein kind of sucks though. 2 songs does not impress, and even they do english versions. If you don't like it, don't buy it and we won't sell it to you. Truth is, you all love the freedoms we spear headed, the defense we provide if your back is ever up against it, the medicine we invent, and the culture we produce. You should, we are made up from your people who came here. Get over it, we have the best of all the world. Be glad we share.

The 14th Amendment gives the right to EQUAL protection before the law.

White Males (and Asian Males) have had that Right removed by Affirmative Action.

In AA, we give special preferences to ALL but White Men for just about every facet that counts toward success in American life: High School Mentor-ships, Special College Prep programs, College Admittance, Grades, Scholarships, Work Study Programs, Waivers for time in program, Military Advancement, Study Grants, Business Loans, Business Licenses, Tax Exempt Status, Career Promotions, ...

Good Gods, it would be easier to list the number of areas that AA has NOT gotten into!

Well, at one point in time, all of the well paid positions of power in government and private employments, the top Echelons, were almost all held by White Men.

Minorities and Women were given only the mid and bottom level positions. Its true, at one time we were extremely pro-White Male.

So the White Male was the Doctor, the Woman was the Nurse, and the Black guy cleaned up the blood and barf.

The White Male was the Engineer, the Woman was the Secretary, and the Black Guy ran the Die-Stamping machine.

The White Male was the Supermarket chain CEO and the local store manager, the Black Guy stocked the store shelves and buffed the floor, and the Woman was the Cashier.

So AA changed all of that, making to were the number of students getting college degrees in Business Management, or High Finance, or Engineering, or a Doctor of Medicine now included Blacks, and Women, and Hispanics. All of that was fine... Up to a Point!

You see, AA was not JUST applied to the top tier Echelon, giving advantage to everyone BUT White Males and Asians, but it was an advantage given to ALL Tier Echelons to the "Designated Minorities"

So, if you would have been a White Male destined to become a Doctor or Engineer under the old system, because of all the white men, you had the talent and drive...

You didn't get bumped from the top tier, to the next tier down. Say from Doctor to Nurse, or Engineer/Scientist to Draftsman or Technician. You got bumped completely from EVERYTHING.

Because AA was not being applied just at the top tiers, in fact, was most generously and successfully applied to the bottom tiers.

Worse, and this is were the 14th Amendment Rights violation comes in, it was not applied proportionally, varying at need over time, or in both directions!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...anics-assimilate-into-american-culture-2.html

So the displaced, Talented White Males, had NO WHERE to go except DOWN into poverty!

There were no programs to help the displaced White Males train into the lower echelon positions of Welder, Die-Stamp Machine operator, Nurse, .... NONE! In fact, in the Trade School, the "Designated Minorities" received even Bigger advantages than they did in the Colleges!

For twenty years running, Women have now been 80% or more of the Four Year Degree College Graduates, but they are only 52% of the population, yet year after year, women continue to receive every sort of AA protection, preference and advantage! WHY?

If AA was applied FAIRLY, in keeping with the 14th Amendment Right to EQUAL protection of the law, Long ago, at the very least women should have lost the AA protected person status.

Similarly, many government institutions, particularly those in Public Housing Finance, have over 80% Black employment! Why are Blacks receiving AA preferences to join an organization with 7X as many Black employees as are present in the general population!

AA is NOT being applied bi-directionally. We are not protecting the rights of White Males to EQUAL treatment by "Diversity Enforcement Law".

The Supreme Court was briefed on this issue multiple times over the years, they KNEW it was happening, and yet kept AA going down the same path for GENERATIONS!

If that's not a suspension of the 14th Amendment Rights of White Males (and Asians), What the Hell is it!?

It is NOT Diversity they are creating, is a Lock-Out of White Men.

There are 330 Million Americans ( counting Illegals), Whites are 64% of that population, and Men are 48% of those = 101 Million Americans.

If you're the son of a Already Wealthy White Family, the Son of Bill Gates, or Lee Iacocca, you still got your degree and a good career.

If you're the son of a plumber in southern New Mexico, you got the shaft!

No wonder our society cannot compete in the world market. We're throwing away all of the Talent of that 50 Million White Males that are not coming from wealthy families!

Major world religion founded by Muhammad in Arabia in the early 7th century AD.

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/islam

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/religion

    Examples of RELIGION

There are many religions, such as Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism.

If you are going to give definitions of from the Dictionary....well lets give them all.

According to Webster- Islam is a religion

And according to the U.S. Constitution- we have freedom of worship- not just worship approved religions.

The reason why I asked is because you said Christianity "was abused in much the same way that Islam is being abused now." Well, Christianity was certainly "abused" in that the terrible practices of Inquisitors was contrary to Christian doctrine. With Islam however, a simple reading of the Koran shows that the terrorism so prevalent today, is NOT an abuse of Islamic doctrine. Quite the contrary, it is consistent with the Koranic texts, and this is the problem. That Muslims won't reform the Koran (as Christianity went through reformation(s). Muslims believe the Koran is the word of God and that can't be changed. As a result, in 1400 years, not one word of the Koran has been changed. Quite amazing. You'd think in all that time, that Muslims would ask themselves if this awful stuff in the Koran is the word of God, is that God really worth worshiping ? (to support genocide, wife-beating, pedophilia, rape, torture, slavery, etc) :confusion:

Your thoughts and proposals are going in the right direction, but I think they are simply not strong enough. Radical Muslims are very savvy. They are experts in putting on a moderate face publicly, all the while, stabbing you in the back and plotting further subversion. The real problem is that Islam is inherently a subversive ideology. Its goal is world domination, and limiting it only makes the subversives change their tactics.

The only solution is to BAN ISLAM entirely and, in fact, this already is the case, by virtue of Article 6 section 2 of the Constitution (the Supremacy Clause) and US Code 2384 (the Seditious Conspiracy law). If the law were being upheld, printing and distribution of the Koran would be stopped, and all mosques would be converted to other uses (no sense in demolishing a perfectly good building). The practice of Islam would cease to exist in America, as it should, and being a Muslim should be an automatic disqualification for immigration to the United States. Islam is simply a square peg trying to go into a round hole in the US. It absolutely cannot fit (and who would ever want it to ?)

It seems to me that the SCOTUS has ruled AGAINST affirmative action, and universities and employers continue to enact it anyway, in defiance. Maybe whopper court suits is the answer. Of sourse, then you run into the problem so common in all court suits >> that of PROVING what is true.

Absolutely, and never has this been more of a threat to our liberty than from Islam. Islam is not only totally against the idea of "all of us- to worship- or not worship- as we please", it is also against our freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to petition for redress of grievances, freedom to drink alcoholic beverages, freedom to ride in taxis with dogs, freedom to be gay, equality for women, and hundreds of other freedoms.

So your Websters dictionary says one thing. Mine says another. But not only does my dictionary not agree with you and your dictionary, neither do most people around the world, and all the long list of links I cited, and thousands of sources within them. And if you just Google "Islam-not a religion" you get 139 Million results, starting with the nation of Italy with whom Islam is officially NOT recognized as a religion, and therefore does not benefit from Italy's "religion tax", as do Catholicism, Judaism and smaller groups, such as the Assemblies of God, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Seventh-Day Adventists, all of whom enjoy the official recognition in the form of signed agreements with the Italian government.

And since Islam is NOT a religion the Constitution's protection of freedom of religion has nothing whatsoever to do with it, except that to note that Islam is a complete contradiction and defiance of that very Constitution, and nothing was ever more UNconstitutional than Islam.

I'd say that "Christians" have had their moments of being 'oppressive' here in America as well. Those moments are often overlooked, but our history is loaded with stories of Christians PUSHING their religion... instead of allowing others to be 'free' of religion.

No- yours also says Islam is a religion. You just decided not to post what your dictionary says about Islam.

All dictionaries call Islam a religion.

    http://oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/Islam

the religion of the Muslims, a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through Muhammad as the Prophet of Allah.

    http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/Islam
the religion of the Muslims, a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through Muhammad as the Prophet of Allah.

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/islam

the religious faith of Muslims, based on the words and religious system founded by the prophet Muhammad and taught by the Koran,

    http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/295507/Islam

Islam, major world religion promulgated by the Prophet Muhammad in Arabia in the 7th century ce

Look at any reference- and Islam is referred to as a religion. Even your dictionary.

Seriously? If you google "Elvis is Alive" you get 18,500,000 results.
If you google Christianity is not a religion- you get 87,200,000 results.
I can even get 8 million hits for "Unicorns are real"!

    How about this-
Google- "Islam is a great religion"- 113,000,000 hits

    LOL

Meanwhile- most of the world recognizes Islam as one of the three great monotheistic religions of the world.

    http://www.religionnews.com/2013/05/28/lacking-recognition-italys-muslims-face-an-uncertain-future/

“The Italian state wanted to recognize the religion,” Chalikandi lamented, “but unfortunately, the Muslim organizations and leaders couldn’t get a consensus and they couldn’t sign that accord with the government.”

Meanwhile- the United States has recognized Islam as a religion for over 200 years- I am not certain why you refer to Italy rather than the U.S.

Note the 1796 Treaty at Tripoli

    ARTICLE 11.
As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

And of course Jefferson himself recognized Islam as a religion- and Muslims deserving, like everyone, of religious freedom.

    http://www.rjgeib.com/thoughts/lynch/religious-freedom.html

Thomas Jefferson led the fight for religious freedom and separation of church and state in his native Virginia. This brought him into conflict with the Anglican Church, the established church in Virginia. After a long and bitter debate, Jefferson's statute for religious freedom passed the state legislature. In Jefferson's words, there was now "freedom for the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and the Mohammedan, the Hindu and infidel of every denomination."

Hmmm who to believe- Thomas Jefferson- one of the key writers of the Constitution- or you?

I will go with Thomas Jefferson.

Then you should at least have the dencency to properly interpret Mr. Jefferson correctly. The wall of seperation was there to protect religion from the state not vice versa.

At the risk of making a fool out of yourself, would you like to present some examples of Christians who to even the most meager degree, have pushed their religion to the extent of while pushing for denial of freedoms, on a level even remotely compared to Muslims ?

ALL 5 of these statements are FALSE! You do not get to change what my dictionary says. I say again >> My dictionary (Webster's New World College Dictionary, 4th ed.) says that a "religion" if a system of beliefs with a code of ethics. Since Islam is nothing but a ludicrous 1400 year carryover of a creed established by a 7th century pervert thug, and his band of thugs, simply to shield themselves from criticism (and it is still being used that way), it of course, is not a code of ethics, but is exactly THE OPPOSITE OF A CODE OF ETHICS.

NONSENSE! The overwhelming majority of the non-Muslim world does not accept Islam as a religion. This is well-known, and even most Muslims probably don't accept it as a religion either, but rather just some awfully oppressive thing they must bear with (especially the women and pedophiled kids). And since almost every Muslim alive today is a Muslim only because his ancestors were either killed for refusing to convert, or were forced to convert, this entirely invalidates their standing as Muslims. As I've said before > "Hell of a way for someone to call himself a Muslim."

NONSENSE! Don't be ridiculous. There are some countries around the world who do wrongly recognize Islam as a religion. They didn't need anybody to sign anything to do that.

who to believe- Thomas Jefferson- one of the key writers of the Constitution- or you?I will go with Thomas Jefferson.[/QUOTE]

I will go with ME, and the majority of non-Muslims around the world who know this >>

It's obvious how Islam came to be purported as a "religion". When the founders of it were espousing imperialist genocidal mass murder, extreme misogyny, rape, pedophilia, kidnapping/slavery, torture/mutilation, racial and sexist discrimination, animal cruelty/killing, and other vile things, and were looking for troops to join them in their conquests throughout Asia Minor, they needed something very powerful and extreme to offset and shield them from the severe condemnation they were sure to get.
The answer was religion. By pretending that the Koran, and all of its hatred and immorality was the word of God, they forced the people to accept it. After all, nobody wants to go against God do they ? As this grandiose con job spread, over time, it became deeper and deeper entrenched as a religion, and more and more difficult to abolish or reform.
And it spread only because the murderous Muslim marauders who spread it, killed 270 million people around the world to do that. Many, if not most, Muslims living today, trace their ancestry back to people who were non-Muslims and were forced to become Muslims. Hell of a way for someone to call himself a Muslim.

Harmony ? The world war waged by Islam against the US, and every non-Muslim nation, has never ceased since 622 AD, including during Jefferson's term, and whether Jefferson was astute enough to know this, makes no difference whatsoever.

Absolutely NOT, if he was accepting of Islam, which technically is banned by the US Constitution, and illegal under numerous US laws, beginning with Seditious Conspiracy.

I love Amazon- and it's "Look inside' feature. Your dictionary says that Islam is a religion also.

    Islam- 1- the Muslim religion.

Now- did you NOT look up Islam in your dictionary, or did you look it up and knew that it contradicted you?

    Don't be ridiculous.

The Catholic Church recognizes Islam as a religion.
India recognizes Islam as a religion.
Virtually the entire world acknowledges Islam as a religion, other than a few extreme whackos.

Well known to you.....and no one else?

You mean like the United States recognizes Islam as a religion.....

I will go with ME, and the majority of non-Muslims around the world who know this >>

    Well there you have it.

In your mind you know more about the U.S. Constitution than Thomas Jefferson.

I think that says it all.

Everything Jefferson did in regard to Islam was legal and correct. He could, by law, or by common decency, accept that Islam was a legitimate religion and take no action to suppress it anywhere where it spread by dawah, and act only to stop its spread by military action against US interests.

The Treaty of Tripoli clearly states, with total accuracy, that the USA is not a Christian nation by law.

Jefferson was spot-on in his dealings with Islam.

After a long and bitter debate, Jefferson's statute for religious freedom passed the state legislature. In Jefferson's words, there was now "freedom for the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and the Mohammedan, the Hindu and infidel of every denomination."

Actually he said nothing of the nation and instead stated"the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion," As well I would argue that any government that claims to be a Christian government, is purely an invention of man having nothing to do with Christian doctrine.
