And BC should be covered by all health care insurance, IMHO.

When it is the Dems goal to change the subject, then the speaker is not talking about the separation of Church and State, the issue in front of the panel, but about something else.

BTW: There were other women that testified, just not lefties so according to the Dems, no women testified.

Why do you think it is OK to force religious organizations to do the bidding of the government?

I can't wait to see what happens when the government forces self insured Islamic organizations to recognize same sex partners.

That is exactly what this is about if you paid attention to the actual hearing instead of what the Dems want to turn it into and why all self insured religious organizations have to fight back.

Go ahead and explain what this has to do with peyote and Native American ceremonies.

Thing is, we're talking about one of the largest government program undertakings in history. The sheer level of bureaucracy this is going to create will be staggering. You can't tell me they couldn't have simply created a tax credit for those who had to purchase their own BC because they work for a religious organization? There are plenty of solutions that would have not violated anyone's rights. This is about political posturing, nothing more.

Well said and it may come to that. Right now it is just cheap political posturing by the Dems trying to turn the discussion.

My comment again, "And BC should be covered by all health care insurance, IMHO"

This is my opinion like it or not.

So it is your opinion that self insured religious institutions should be forced to pay for something that is fundamentally against their religion, in other words, you do not believe in separation of Church and State. Just your opinion of course.

Besides, when did people like you accept that government can dictate how a business operates?

Totalitarian democracy, the new "normal" for Americans. Sad.

The institutions can stop offering insurance altogether if it's that big of a deal. Derp.

Ah, now we get to the meat of the matter and the true goal. Shutting down insurance by all but the government.

Like Obama said, "You can keep your insurance.". Just another lie.

    Mod Edit: Personal attack.

Sure, they can keep their insurance. Who is taking away their insurance?

Are said workers in religious organizations paying for their health care coverage?

BTW, yes if the workers are paying any part of such coverage.

Using your simplistic ideology, they can work somewhere else if they don't like it.

Nothing like spitting in the eye of the constitution if it fits your wallet.

If your only point was to argue with my opinion then why did you ask for it???

When a church becomes provider of health insurance, and accepts premium for coverage, IMO, it's a new ballgame.

So what you believe is that when a business opens it's doors and decides to sell something, you believe that some bureaucarat can dictate what they can sell.

Wait, so now they're a business? I thought they were a religious institution that enjoys nonprofit status?

What do you think insurance is? Insurance is run as a business, profit or not. Even worse for non profit in this case.

Insurance is a business that is regulated. I really wish you would stop telling me what I believe and/or what my views are and instead stick to the discussion.

Well duh! You want them to be forced to fund birth control and abortions via government fiat. Plain and simple.

Who is forcing a religious institution to purchase birth control or abortions?
