Just wait until the turf wars move onto US soil. People are going to be scared as (*)(*)(*)(*). If prohibition continues, it will happen. They're fighting for space in Mexco as it is. We can't control them now, and every day they grow stronger. And people wonder why we need guns..

Except for the thousands who were killed by the cia backed junta and the thousands more who had to flee the country... Read up on Pinochet sometime.

Even though journalists are like cockroaches (they always replace themselves) the quality of their journalism is a seperate matter. These killings will inevitably damage the quality of all journalism in Mexico as a culture of fear is not an easy thing to get rid off once it is in place (just ask the Mosque protestors in NYC).

The cartels are uncivilized; you're supposed to use frivolous and expensive libel lawsuits to scare off journalists and surely the cartels can afford a few squads of top-notch litigation lawyers. Oh well, use the gun enough times to solve your problems in the criminal world and in the end every solution looks like it requires the application of a few bullets.
