I've watched Beck's show (before anybody gets gloaty, I don't purchase from his sponsors) and I knew from the beginning that it was just a sad rip-off of Limbaugh's TV show that he had in the 90's.

Yes, Limbaugh had a TV show in the 90's. (I'm not surprised you never heard of it)

And just like Limbaugh's show, I always knew that Beck's was not long for this world. Of course the best part of Beck losing his show is that, as he has admitted on TV, his mortgage is underwater.

 

This again? Gee, I thought we'd hashed this out like two weeks before my last banning.

Oh and Limbaugh keeps archives of his TV show on his website.

 

That must be a good remind of what a fat bastard he was before he lost his weight being addicted to drugs.

Never watched a complete show of his myself, always felt he was a clown. I also tend to avoid opinion shows,sticking to hard news. From what few minutes I have watched though I agree with David Carr, viewers can only stand so much "doom and gloom".

FYI - alcoholism is a disease - not just a 'bad habit' but an often inherited disease. It can skip generations, but the gene is still there. Beck was an alcoholic, but he got treatment and is now a reformed alcoholic....

Everyone heard about Limbaugh's back problem - he suffered w/a lot of pain, took pain killers and like many others - Betty Ford, for instance - he got addicted to them....... is that to deep for you?

 

Beck became a thinker, he walked out of a shell that he placed himself in due too his surroundings... No one, can defeat him on his facts, if you can bring it on, do it with facts!

Don't watch Beck but he still has over 2 million viewers which is something when the CNN and MSNBC combined are under a million.

update: Beck again led all shows (including The O’Reilly Factor) in the adults 25-54 demographic on Thursday night.

Though a little scandal might alienate advertisers, it’s pure ratings gold. Last night Glenn Beck had over 3 million viewers at 5pm, second only to O’Reilly for the night. But, Beck had more 25-54 viewers than O’Reilly (888K to 876K). I don’t watch or really even care about the cable news wars, but still…wow. Even though Beck airs before primetime, when there are fewer people watching TV, he had the most 25-54 viewers in the cable news world for the night.

Not to worry though, even if faux drops him, he can depend on the 'Pavlov's Dog' effect on his fans and after ringing his bell, they'll follow him anywhere on earth he goes.

How stupid are some of you to believe this crap? Fox will not cut ties with Glenn, even though it's the wet dream of the left. As long as Fox continues to kick the crap out of their competition they will stick with their lineup. Furthermore, does this NYT moron give facts from Fox saying they are thinking of canning him? Why does Chris Matthews even attempt to compete against Beck at 5PM??? Why do you do it Mr. Mau Mau? Every show you mention Beck. Why don't get your audience at his level, and then call him out.

 

Beck probably shouldn't have claimed to "take back the Civil Rights movement." His message constantly loses credibility and it's no surprise he's lost 1/3 of his viewers. I doubt Beck will make it past December, but maybe this will be a wake-up call for him? I don't wish him ill, but he is annoying.

You know Beck is usually right. Remember when he predicted a while back that Olbermann would be canned by MSLSD? What happened? I think Olbermann has a new show: "I give up" on the Lifetime.

Beck is bleeding viewers and has been since last year. Just google it or read the article of you don't believe me.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Beck has never been right "most of the time."

 

We know he's ratings have dropped. But doesn't it bother you that Beck triples Chris Matthews audience?

Beck was right about when he predicted 9/11 long ago, right about Shirley Sherrod, right about Van Jones. Van Jones should get a virtual restraining order on Beck because Beck is on his every move.

BTW... "Unnamed" Sources is a nice way of saying "No" Sources. Only a coward journalist would that and the left has... well, you know the rest.

Glenn Beck is powerful, just accept it. Every book he promotes on his show shoots up the ranks on Amazon, he tells his audience to look up the facts themselves. Why don't you watch his show, check the facts, and get back to us here. Or are you to busy watching Chris "Thrill Down My Leg B/C I pissed my Pants when Obama Spoke" Matthews?

 

Beck has had the most audience since last year dude, you dont back up your words! But Glenn's anticipations often come true, he has over three million viewers because of it.....

The man tells his audience to not take his word for anything and look up the facts themselves. His audience is smart -- one man discovered the word "Khalifa" on a banner in some mid east protest. After some research it was found that was the translated into "Caliphate."
