I'm pretty sick and tired of people complaining about an legislatively and politically active administration being threatened with government shutdown. This administration is the first in a long time that can actively unite the globe on international relations and humanism. America has wanted to know the whole story about gadaffi's anti-americanism as well as his people's full response to the leader's governance. Give us the 60 minuites we want. Give us the dateline's we want. Give Americans the full story to the pressing issues so we that can make the MAJORITY VOTE louder than the anti-Administration minority.

The task at hand for our nation's legislator's is to affirm what they already have... the spending cut high mark, several trillion dollars, and match the allocation without impeding on the other parties 'turf' while at the same time ONLY seeking the best interest of the American people.

"Throw the bums out" is a ridiculous philosophy.
It's collective punishment, which means no individual politician has any incentive to do any different.

It's the fact that Americans believe we're supposed to have people of "character" in public office, rather than realizing our incentive system is completely off.
Legislators' primary incentive in our current system is to avoid accountability. And most people can only "use their power" to enforce those same incentives, as most people seem happy with their own legislators.
