Think of life like this. No humans = No problems. Why do we continue living, while everything in the end is meaningless. Why should we protect human rights? Let's get rid of humanity as whole immediately and we won't have a financial crisis anymore, no more worries about homework, no more worries about relationships, no more worries. Why do we go against these logical facts, and continue humanity anyway? Let's go for a huge world mass suicide and be done with everything.

Darketernal.......Your listening to the squirrels in your head....Again.

Here is some advise. Life is what you make of it.....
Ignore those annoying, simple mind Liberal Bastards in goverment, and in society.

Go out and party and enjoy yourself.
If your a single person, go out and find a partymate of the oposite sex and same race color.
Get yourself a bottle of Southern Comfort and get drunk with them.
In the morning have no regrets.
Because you plan on doing it all again with another person.

And if that don't do it for you.

Get yourself a pet Parrakeet and name it 'Mr. Obama'
So you can Yell and Curse the crap out of it.

 WHAHAHA There is an element of truth in this one. HEHEHE  It depends how much control you have over your situations. With 21st century overpopulation and consolidation of resources and industries, the cost of staying alive is pushing others to the edge of survival. It is better to let yourself starve gracefully than fight out others in competition. Ending a life for no specific reason is equally as meaningless as life itself, because you have to exist in one way or another somewhere anyways. Too bad, there are a million government agencies and "good samaritans" who make it their duty to keep you alive at the edge, against your will, for no reason. Life puts 3 demands on you such as food, shelter, and sex, I agree that none of them are worth anything BUT you are not allowed to get out of the game, face it, you are shnookered into this used car deal, and you are stuck with it. Your application for suicide is hereby denied. Face the anger of your opponents.

Actually, suffering makes life meaningful. Without suffering, one cannot know bliss.

Thus, where there is no suffering, there is no bliss; and where there is no suffering and no bliss, there is only nothingness.

To be sure, if the Devil did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him in order for sentient existence to be manifested.

That's Republican advise for you. :puke:

Anyone else wouldn't suggest the opposite sex and same race colour but a person of your own choosing.

First of all, if the biggest worries in your life are about homework and relationships, I wish I could be in your shoes.

Secondly, not everyone believes that their problems are so bad that the only solution is suicide.

The secret to life is two parts. First, don't sweat the small stuff. The second, remember that it is all small stuff.

All the things you think are huge problems now will be trivial in the future.

But for the no problem to exist there requires humans to be there to see such ends. There will certainly be problems if we just disappear off the face of the earth.

Why should we not? To suppose we should die because there is no meaning seems to me to imply there is a meaning because you need a reason to do. You have identified this above - one meaning is to solve problems. Ultimately life generally is meaningless, but that doesnt mean by our nature we are incapable of creating meaning, through emotion, mental desires etc. Humans are not inclined to be depressed over the fact their existence is meaningless. After all, if you weren't born what a great opportunity you have missed out on - to experience sensations and joys that, however fleeting, gave you some enjoyment and happiness.

You would have no experience of no worries and no social problems if you didnt exist because you wouldn't be able to experience such a lack of problems.

Becuase it is in our nature - that is how we are. Isnt it awesome?

Nah, life is too fun. If you aren't having fun, find a means of rectifying such a feeling. Life gives a chance of fun, why waste it?

Most folks are broke from the weekend and need the week to recoup enough to continue destroying their livers another day. And that day is Friday.

But I'm with you, it's always a celebration here, hope you can keep up.

    What?
You think your original or clever?
You just take a philosophy course and discover nihilism?

I would be more successful hunting a snark than finding such an illusive creature as the wily "problem". "Problems" don't exist, because all News is the Good News. An obstacle is just an opportunity in disguise.

I find it funny that I'll be arguing with you on this, given our avatars fought over essentially the same issue.

Life is good because it is bad. Constant ecstasy would be boring. Even pain and misery can shake things up a bit. Moreover, now that we in the first world are past the whole famine thing, we can concentrate on the things we enjoy. You win some and you lose some, and that's what makes it exciting-- gambling is fun. Non-existence is not preferable to existence because while we exist we have the capacity, even if unexercised, to enjoy ourselves.

    Good question...What is your answer?

Yeah...Sometimes life sucks....But then...sometimes it doesn't. Get your homework done and find a new relationship. Then it won't suck as much.

Your premise of logic seems to be built on a false reality. Appreciation is the key....Try it.
