This is justice. You can't shoot someone bleeding on the ground five times in full view of the camera and not expect anything to happen.

I believe he shot him once in the head. And then went back with other gun to finish him off.

Nope you sure can't. Had he simply shot the robber during the course of the holdup, he might have been ok....but the other shots when the guy was already down and out....too much.

Had he shot both in the face when they tried to rob him, and then called authorities...I'd have 0 issue with it. He went too far.

Why is he getting a life sentence for shooting a dead body?

Because it is not known if he was dead. He went from defending himself to executing an unarmed and unconscious kid.

He was fine until he decided to get a new gun and pump 5 shots into the kid. The kid may or may not have been alive, but he certainly made sure he was dead, without the need to defend himself. So this is when it becomes murder.

Do we know if the punk could have survived the first shot??

He should have kept a clear head and shot the boy in an excited frenzy for the camera. "Always empty your gun." If you want to claim temporary insanity.

"I remember seeing that the kid had a gun,, I heard loud popping sounds, , and then the cops showed up and asked if I was hurt. I didn't know if I was shot or not." - - no indictment..

If I remember correctly the kid that was shot didn't have a weapon when he entered the store. His buddy was the one waving around the gun. When the other kid was shot, the one with the gun took off and then the pharmacist tried chasing him down, which was his first mistake.

He should have just let them rob him. Hasn't he heard of insurance? It's idiots like this that make a good case for gun control.

Yeah he should have just given the robbers all his stuff, the kids deserved his stuff more than him. Oklahoma has a bunch or retards in their jury pool.

Insurance would cover any loss. Best to leave the apprehension of criminal to police officers who know how to control themsleves and not shoot a helpless boy 50 times once he is down.

    Your scenario:

Victim: "Here, take the money and leave"
Robber with gun: "Thanks old man"
    Bang Bang
Robber without gun: "Why did you kill him?"
Robber with gun: "Because he seen our faces and can ID us."

Yep, the victim should have just given him all the money and hope he wouldn't be shot, he's wife would have benefited from his life insurance too. Like I said, OK's jury pool is full of idiots just like Florida.

How is the store worker supposed to know that? His buddy had a gun, maybe he was just holding out or waiting to pull it out?

IDK why the man shot him when he was on the ground... blind furry? Rage? Revenge? IDK - he WAS just the victim of a crime, one of which his life was in danger, that can screw with your head.

I don't think I would have given him life, too many bleeding hearts for our criminals in this society.

Maybe he figured if the kid was still alive, he could get sued so he made sure the kid was dead. I have a 17 round 9mm, I'm going to fire until I'm empty.

Murder? Really? Kid got what he deserved. "Antwun", if he didn't want to get shot and killed, shouldn't have robbed a store.

I don't care if the guy shot him 5 times or 20. Let it be a lesson to criminals.

The criminal surrendered his life when he decided to rob a store. Its the action that caused him to be shot, not the value of the property stolen.
