    It certainly is just around the corner. Perhaps just due to the drought, leaves are starting to fall already.
    Just such a short time ago, we were wishing for warmer weather, now we are almost done with it.

    I'm not feeling any hint of fall yet.

    We're still hitting triple digits every day. I'd say we are still a month out from a real, sustained cool-down (what Fa would consider a second planting season).
    With luck we'll be consistently in the 90s by the end of Sept and 80s in Oct.

    I've never been so tired of hot weather in my life, that is true.

    Sorry, darlin... it was the heat made me do it. :(

    105 today, 106 tomorrow & Friday. I'm with gypz, sick of it this year. Don't get me wrong, it's ALWAYS hot in Texas in August. But we usually get a break now and then... nice thunderstorm... SOMETHING!!!

    This year we've had no breaks. No morning when you walk outside and think, "Oooh, feels good out here!" Nope, it's been 85 and up at 6 am. Pure miserable.

    Somebody mentioned the State Fair today! By then (late Sept), it'll be better. Can't wait for fall! :sun::sun:

    It really has gotten to the point where it is hard to keep finding some humor with which to address it!
    It feels like the longest summer on record.
    I've already offered my kingdom for a 2012 team...
