From the news of this month: Police that blocked roads near Pentagon Friday due to bomb threat detained an American of Ethiopian origin. As reported by ABC News, he was carrying an unknown device, used cartridge cases and Islamist literature.

In the Somali capital of Mogadishu the leader of Al-Qaeda terrorist network in East Africa Fazul Abdullah was eliminated, Agence France-Presse reported. Abdullah was in the list of the most wanted terrorists by the FBI, which promised a reward of USD 5 million for his capture.

Yes, the West is doing everything to ensure the safety of its citizens. Similar measures to preserve peace and order are carried out in Uzbekistan. It would seem that are doing a common good thing, and our countries should understand each other. However...

In the recent months, from the enlightened Europe and the US, which are "concerned about the democratization of the whole world", all sorts of calls for mass riots in Uzbekistan have been increasingly heard.

It turns out that in this very Uzbekistan innocent devout Muslims are oppressed in various ways. According to some Western media, the demonstrations in Andijan in 2005 were absolutely peaceful and were held by law-abiding citizens, and the authorities suppressed them with extreme cruelty. At the same time, the views of the authors of these articles and of those who stand behind them about the peacefulness and law-abiding are diametrically opposed to the actual meaning of these concepts.

In this situation, the author would like to focus on the separate events of those tragic days, in order to allow the readers to make up their minds for themselves about what had happened in reality.

January 2005. An abandoned military training center in the Kyrgyz city of Osh. Here, hidden from others’ eyes, members of the religious-extremist organization Akramiya underwent military training. A little later, special training bases of militants would be created in the gym of the school named after Panfilov. It is here that the "peaceful demonstrators" will learn the basics of war craft from the mercenaries, and work out the action in a combat situation.

In April 2005, on the order of one of the leaders of akramists K.Parpiev, another member of the organization Ilhom Hajiyev and someone called Shahobiddin, citizen of Kyrgyzstan, buy for USD 31,000 24 machine guns, 3 handguns and 24 magazines and a large number of ammunition from another Kyrgyz citizen A.Mamadaliyev.

At the same time, another akramist F.Khamidov, through his contacts in Tajikistan, imports in Uzbekistan 10 machine guns, several handguns and 2 sniper rifles.

In early May 2005, the leaders of the akramists meet in Osh and designate a time and place for the intrusion of the militants from Kyrgyzstan to Andijan.

On 12 May, around midnight, armed akramists attack the building of the patrol guard service of the regional interior department and shoot down the whole personnel. From here, the terrorists take out 138 machine guns, 103 handguns, grenades and ammunition. Similar attacks are made to other police locations.

Driving around the streets of Andijan, the akramists open fire indiscriminately in all directions, set cars on fire and blow them up. Later, it is learnt that on that day akramists set on fire and exploded 72 vehicles. The aim is more than obvious – to sow panic and fear among residents of Andijan.

Later, the terrorists attack the military unit and seize submachine and machine guns. The next target of the militants is the Andijan prison, where the akramists shoot down the guards and free 737 prisoners. The desire of the "peaceful akramists" to let the genie out of bottle is at least surprising.

After all, here in prison persons convicted of robbery, drug dealers, serial killers, rapists and thieves were serving their sentences. So why, one can ask, was it necessary to free those who had been isolated from the society for the safety of lives and peace of mind of innocent people?

At that time, another group of militants breaks into Uzbekistan from Kyrgyzstan.

One has to be a cynic or suffer from mental disorder to assume that the actions in Andijan were spontaneous, and, moreover, peaceful. The terrorists had originally set a clear goal – to shed blood, and in a way to make it heard in the whole world.

So what was the reason the akromists failed to reach their goal? They had made wrong assumptions about the people. The akromists believed the people would join them. But they had not taken into account the fact that the residents of the Ferghana Valley would not accept blood, violence and sufferings. In Andijan, people clearly realized that the main factor of wealth and prosperity at all times was peace and tranquility, and health of the close ones.

Meanwhile, a terrorist is a terrorist wherever he is. However, the actions of militants in Afghanistan, despite the fact that they are similar to those of the terrorists from Uzbekistan, do not cause as much support in the Western countries.

From the media reports of this month:

A group of militants opened fire on a wedding process in Afghanistan, killing nine and injuring five people. According to Associated Press, among the dead were women and children.

The press service of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said yesterday that another attack of the militants on the civilians took place on 3 June in the central province of Uruzgan. The members of the Taliban shot at a taxi car with 10 people inside, whose driver did not stop at the order of the militants. Two people received injuries. According to AFP, in 2010 the Taliban killed more than 2,700 civilians in Afghanistan.

Militants from the terrorist group Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, which operates in Afghanistan, released a video which reports the death of the German Islamist from Essen (North Rhine – Westphalia) named Miqdaad, Spiegel reported.

According to another German Islamist, someone called Yassin C., who also appears on the record, Miqdaad was killed in battle with US troops on 20 March 2011 near the North Afghan city of Kunduz, which hosts one of the largest bases of Bundeswehr.

According to German intelligence, the real name of Miqdaad is Abdullah. He is a German citizen of Afghan origin, who arrived at a training camp of Islamists on the Afghan-Pakistani border in fall 2010, and in January 2011 was moved to the north of Afghanistan, which is in Bundeswehr's area of responsibility.

The video released by the terrorists shows that the main desire of the deceased Miqdaad was to join battle against the German soldiers stationed in the North Afghan provinces. On a fragment of the videotape, Miqdaad expresses joy over the fact that he was sent to fight against the Bundeswehr and NATO.

Reporting on the death Miqdaad, the terrorists of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan called on Afghans living in Germany to join the fight against the "occupants".

In conclusion, the author would like to note that of the 334 weapons seized by akromists in 2005 60 still have not been found... Nobody knows where the weapons "designated to destroy the enemy forces" and that the akramists used to hold a "peaceful demonstration" is hidden, except for the akramists themselves.
