    Report: Israel sends 2 warships to Egyptian border


    Military sources tell AP Israeli Navy sent additional warships to maritime border with Egypt following intelligence indicating viable terror threat. Meanwhile, Iran set to send 15th Fleet to area as well as 'to thwart pirate activity'


    The Israeli military said Monday that it has sent two additional warships to the Red Sea border with Egypt following warnings that militants are planning another attack on southern Israel from Egyptian soil.



    Monday saw IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Benny Gantz order the deployment across the entire southern sector, and especially in the area near the Israel-Egypt border, increased, following intelligence indicating a viable terror threat in the area.

    The largest ship in the Israeli navy is a corvette. Color me not impressed.

    The Suez Canal is no where near the Egyptian-Israeli border on the Red Sea.

    I think the news her is that Iran has decided to send its fleet into the Red Sea.

    If the Iranian and Israeli navies fought it would be like two 6 year olds slap fighting.
