'Tea-Party Conservative' Refutes Claims of Obama Birth Certificate Forgery

New book details 3-month investigation that found "no credible evidence" of fraud

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As Tea Partiers flock to hear Sarah Palin speak in Iowa this Saturday, one conservative who identifies with the movement is busy shredding the "expert claims" that President Barack Obama's birth certificate is forged.

And John Woodman insists that what might be seen by some as odd behavior for a conservative is, in fact, completely in harmony with the Tea Party's "Restoring America" theme.

"I didn't set out to disprove the forgery claims," he says. "I set out to discover the truth. And truth, even when some may find it inconvenient, is definitely one of the values we need to preserve and restore in our society."

In this case, unraveling the truth took Woodman, a computer professional with 20 years' experience, a full 3 months of careful investigation. He meticulously researched more than 30 different claims of evidence that Mr. Obama's birth certificate is forged - and ended up dismissing them all.

"There are certainly a lot of odd and interesting things about the birth certificate," he says. "But in spite of what you've heard, not one of them amounts to credible evidence that it's a fraud."

ROFL this is so funny I'm going to pee myself... so, the statement by the "tea party conservative, refuting claims of Obama birth certificate forgery must be taken at face value? Suppose the opposite is said by the "democratic party liberal", will you also take it at face value?

You Obamabots belong in the museum :-D

Of course a single statement or claim doesn't need to be taken at face value.

That a conservative tea partier confirms what the State of Hawaii has said is just ironic and amusing.

The actual verification of the authenticity of the birth certificates are the repeated statements by the State of Hawaii that the birth certificate is authentic and that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

This is just icing on the cake.

Can you please quote me the passage wherein Wong, or anyone else, told you to take it at "face value"?

Clearly you all believe the Tea party guy is correct in his assumptions, and clearly you won't believe a democratic party liberal if he says otherwise. Therefore, you will only believe what you want to hear.

So that would be a, "No, I can't quote you the passage wherein Wong, or anyone else, told me to take it at 'face value.'"

See how easy a direct response to a direct question can be?

    Try again:
If you were mistaken, and read something that wasn't there, you'd gain a bit of credibility by admitting it.

Of course, being a birther means never having to admit a mistake... you just craft a fresh delusion.

You are serious, aren't you? Looks like you are... lol well; by posting the article, OP implies he believes what's written in it is true... let me make it even simpler for you to understand, counselor - OP believes that if even a Tea Party member believes Obama's birth certificate is genuine, then it must be true. Hence, my uncontrollable burst of laughter :mrgreen::mrgreen:

Anything else you want me to splain to you, counselor?

Tell me Nosferax - do you really need to edit even such a short post? Can you drive in a point by first thinking it through, and then typing it?

Except of course, once again, you are just assuming things.

I have already explained my position- I believe the birth certificate is genuine because the State of Hawaii has officially stated it is authentic, and that the relevant information, i.e. Obama's birth in Hawaii has been confirmed by the State of Hawaii multiple times.

That a Tea Party conservative has reviewed the birth certificate, and his conclusion is in agreement with the confirmation from the State of Hawaii is just delicious irony, not any evidence itself.

Of course Birthers....they assume that anything said by any Birther is conclusively the truth...regardless of the evidence. Which is why you get confused so easily.

The passage you claim exists, wherein Wong told you his OP must be taken at face value.

Wong never told me "his OP must be taken at face value" and I never said he did.

Give it up Councilor, you're becoming truly boring and uninteresting, to the point where you now competing with rahl to either take his lonely place on my ignore list, or join him there

Of course not- I quoted you and pointed out the spurious assumptions you had made and how ridiculous they were.
