This empty suit has become a laughing stock. He should just resign and let Hillary run in 2012. Note to Dems and independents- don't buy a pig in a poke.

If the usual comments here are indicative of Republican thinking - not often enough.

The comments do not bode well for the Dems in 2012.

Because you are on a predominately Republican forum, you believe the posters here are indicative of the way the general public will vote in 2012?

I'm convinced Valerie Jarrett writes his speeches. Can't think of anybody else who thinks the American people are so dumb, saying the same thing over and over and over and over has some magic effect on us.

This administration is full of clowns... Barack is nothing but their mouthpiece.

LOL really? If you hear the Phrase "ram it down our throats " dont you froth at the mouth?... how about "Obama care".. you rubes think he created it from scatch because of that phrase lol. How about "Support our troops" and "they hate our freedom" to quash any anti-war sentiment.. How about "The American people dont want.. and all you rubes parrot it about like you know it for a fact. How about "tax cuts create jobs" even it has failed miserably for the last 30 years ... you people are beyond hope.

The only good thing I have gathered from this forum is that out in the real world , you guys are in the minority still.. even in Texas. So there is still hope

Well it worked for Bush and Cheney when they wanted to go to war:

    "Terrorists"
    "Jihadists"
    "Terrorism"
    "Dirty bombs"
    "Networks of terrorists"
    "Terrorist cells"
    etc...

It also worked for the Republicans during the first 100 days of Obama's Presidency:

    "Socialist"
    "European Socialist"
    "Communist"

So it seems to work both ways, which says very little for your education system.

I think that anyone with more than 2 functioning brain cells realizes that was just a 2012 campaign speech. Now he can rant and rave about the GOP obstructionists when he is preaching to his choir. It might make Maxine Waters love him again but I don't think he will be fooling many independents. Looking forward to seeing if he gets a poll bounce this week from it though.

It has an effect on their simple-minded base.

Yeah, the American people couldn't be that stupid...and their leaders would never think that repeating things over and over again might influence their thinking...

Probably don't belong on a political forum if they can't tolerate partisan posts, eh?

Apples & oranges, dear. Obama's barking orders. PASS THE BILL

If we wanted to talk about Dem buzzwords overused during Obama's term, we'd need a bigger server.

Isn't that your objective, SMW? I know how much Republicans adore self congratulation and you all are almost there - but not quite.

    So, pass the buck!

what a riot. I've heard of telling them what you are going to say, saying it, and then reminding them what you said; but that was ridiculous
