All they killed were five Afghan civilians, including a 3-year-old girl. Not the anniversary massacre they were hoping for, but 10 years later, the enemy is consistent in his disregard for civilians, and his desire for spectacular acts of slaughter in the cause of jihad. "77 Americans wounded in Afghan truck bombing," by Rahim Faiez for the Associated Press, September 11

'No' is the answer to that question, Margot....He couches everything in terms of his warped interpretation of Jihad which masks his hatred of muslims.. But I hardly needed to remind you of that fact....You would have noticed that since his hero Breivic was exposed for regurgitating Jihadwatch filth, he has not himself cited it.

No Yanks died, seem to me your heroic freedom fighters ( the same ones who use kids as suicide bombers) have a lack of moral or a sense of the value of a human life :D

That's not much better than invading a country and terrorising its citizens with drone aircraft. They must all live in fear of being blown up by both sides of this "war."

i have a feeling the people that are in threads condemning america for accidentally killing civilians will be absent from this thread condemning the freedom fighters for accidentally killing civilians. did you notice moon didnt condemn it, he only pointed his finger at america and then left the thread. some posters are so predictable.

This one was on a hotel. Five suicide gunmen killing locals this time and for what, the serving of drinks! The attack breached the laws of war despite your idiotic claims of them legitimising anything the Taliban deems beneficial to taking control of Afghanistan.

No. But something else would, like many other atrocities done to the afghans during taliban rulling.

What mnakes you think the civilians were killed accidentally? Have the Taliban issued any apologies or compensated victims families etc? Perhaps the Taliban wants to discourage civilians from going anywhere near US military bases and in any case they can reckon any deaths of Afghans helps their propaganda as it adds to the deaths widely blamed on the US.

Yes, prior to the invasion civilian loss of life and suffering had been very high for years:

The Taliban and their allies committed massacres against Afghan civilians, denied UN food supplies to 160,000 starving civilians and conducted a policy of scorched earth burning vast areas of fertile land and destroying tens of thousands of homes during their rule from 1996-2001. Hundreds of thousands of people were forced to flee to United Front-controlled territory, Pakistan and Iran.

Would the Afghan people be better off under complete taliban rule, than having us there helping them to oppose taliban rule ?

The US did not occupy Afghanistan, in fact the US did not occupy any county on 9/11/2001. Your "excuse" of Islamic jihad has therefore failed.

question... are you so hellbent on blaming america for everything that youre now wanting to blame america for the people that the freedom fighters kill? there is always room to stretch but you are defying sanity.

Ask the Kurds in Iraq that question or hell just ask any Shia muslim or Sunni muslim how well they get along with their counterparts. To assume that America is the cause for violence in the middle east is just asinine.

Arab Spring means the end of Christians in the M-E.
It was already the end, but this is the finishing touch.
