I mean everytime they have a front runner or a national spokes person they do some very silly things. Paul, Perry, Palin, Trump, that silly woman they had last year who was up for campaign fraud. I just am shocked at the lack of professionalism and how they consistently have shady pasts. This is not to slam the TP, but there is an undeniable pattern.

The only 'undeniable pattern' is your continuing inability to understand the difference between the "current events" and "political opinions/beliefs" sub-forums.

When is the "Downgraded" guy going to get impeached for his Mexican cartel gun smuggling operation?

When are Dodd and Frank going to be indicted for the 2008 mortgage crisis?

Feel free to list all the Democrat frontrunner candidates who were perfect without a shady past and we will be happy to embarrass you and this worthless theory.

Silly politicians and spokesmen didnt exist prior to the Tea Party......and a 57 state Corpse-man in the Whitehouse isnt at all silly.

Tell me about Paul's shady past?

....as he is the only one that could be said to be elected by the Tea Party to speak for them....and thats still a stretch.

In my view they are a movement without a leader, therefor represented by the likes of Sarah Obachma, Glen Beck and other neocon nitwits who spent the country trillions into debt. I therefore view it as a complete joke, and a part of the media circus, a replacement for the left right rhyth, a bridge in a song if you will, but absolutely part of the same song. Ron Paul is a change of tune and act. only he could not do anything alone as president even if elected.

Amen. would you believe there were two candidates in my lifetime to which I donated money? Ron Paul was one, and Dennis Kucinich was another one.

Never under-estimate the silliness of the Tea Party.

Let's face it. They have carved out a political niche even mainstrean Republicans abhor. Bein' as mainstream Republican vested interests could not survive without big government.

All politicans have their skelletons, but more alarming than the foolish antics of TP are the TP fools who buy into the propaganda and spin of the TP's sales.

Your right, of course. That's why the Democrats choose to run someone with very little history and conceal what little their is. President Obama's land deal with convicted felon Rezko and his personal relationship with mad bomber William Ayers and the racist minister Jeremiah Wright being his mentor was all covered up by the media and other petty details like his school records and birth certificate were hidden. His auntie who was in the country illegally and drawing welfare while her millionaire nephew ran for president wasn't a biggie.

Obviously, running Senator McCain, not a conservative, and a woman was a horrible mistake. Of course, the Democrats are running President Obama again.

Paul's record is spotless, and consistent. You may not like his positions but your points do not apply to him.

With the possible! exception of Rand Paul, there is a certain shortage of gravitas no matter who they send out there. It's kinda like a Corn Queen pageant.

Same can be said for all strickly loyal obedient party followers/worshipers. Democrats, republicans, liberal-arians, and independents alike, they all have their nut cases and hard-core propaganda spinners.

I have voted in every election I was able to, and NEVER felt that any candidate earned on dime of my money. I strongly believe in equal federal funding for all candidates and NO private funds allowed.

Shady past? Some think we have one of those in the WH right now.

But please tell, in what way is Paul silly? They don't come more professional than he, depending on your definition of professionalism. Shady past? Please elaborate.
On the other hand, if you want for professional snake oil salespeople, yes, there is great picking in DC, into which many of the candidates would blend in rather nicely.

Please describe the ideas you feel are nutty and then tell us why they are so ludicrous... Pretty much every platform he holds was in place at some point in the recent past. The United States has been a very strong country throughout that time.

The country thrived without a Fed, without a Board of Education, on the gold standard, without a department of homeland security, without inacting aggressive overseas wars, survived a nuclear standoff with Russia without bombing Moscow...

I'm not saying I believe in everything he says, but I'd love to hear details of WHY he is so "nutty" since that is the favourite term coming out of the neo-con camp.
