SEATTLE (AP) — President Barack Obama charged Sunday that the GOP vision of government would "fundamentally cripple America," as he tried out his newly combative message on the liberal West Coast.

Is he kidding? What the heck does he think HIS policies have done?

Hasn't Obama already fundamentally crippled America?

Rhetoric like this is Obama's only hope of being reelected. He can't run on his record, which is the worst Presidential record in US history, so all he can do is hope that his idiotic followers will buy into his demagoguery of the other side.

How is the GOP going to "cripple America"? Only paying for stuff we can afford is going to "cripple America"? I'm sure his plan to run trillion + deficits year after year, and borrowing 40 cents of every dollar from the Chinese is a much better solution for long term prosperity.

If Obama is reelected, America is done. There is no way we can survive another 5 years of this.

Well it's not like the GOP hasn't, at every opportunity, pointed out Obama's job raping socialist communist agenda. At the end of the day it's all rhetoric, and you're going to find it during any campaign season.

Both he and Bush, yes. No matter which party one votes for anymore, one may rest assured that the elected will be utterly incompetent and ill-suited for whatever position they were chosen for. :bored:

You poor sad denialists. You wouldn't be having the luxury of sitting happily spewing on the net if Obama hadn't taken Bush's economic armageddon and turned it around, in record setting time, only to have the scum of the earth cons styme it back into the doldrums. cons now own the economic hell, that and stupid hatred are all you represent.

Really? I, along with the rest of the country, must have missed that. (And I'm not even a conservative! Hopefully your brain hasn't been too terribly contorted by that little fact.)

Obama turned a disaster into a cataclysm. He went right along with that ape of a President, Bush, and his policies of socializing corporate losses and dumping them on the taxpayer. This, he followed up with a bloated "stimulus" package crafted by special interests. And then he fed us to BigPharma with ObamaCare. All the while, proceeding with two frivolous wars, and, indeed, getting us involved in a third.

Yeah, great. I want my 4 trillion dollars back.

I swear, Americans are so stupid. I'm moving to Iceland. :bored:

So we wouldn't be on the net now if it wasn't for Obama? Should we be thanking him like we thank Al Gore every time we log in? LOL!

Obama took a bad economy and turned it into the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression. He hasn't turned anything around. I have no doubt that he will continue to destroy the economy with his failed socialist policies and crony capitalism. The only people who can't see his failures are you blind *******s. He still sends a thrill up your legs.

And you're not utterly devoid of substance? Do tell, what has Obama done so well? I'm listening, although I'm not expecting much other than empty pejoratives being flung my way.

Hardly just Obama. More like the supporters of almost every American politician. The only difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is the occasional, slight tilting back and forth their spats cause the Scale of Assininery to engage in.

The Republicans have been trying to destroy America since 2000, and really, really sincerely since 2010. America is toast if they take over, third-world hellhole, here we come!

I'm sorry, I thought the man was a Democrat trying to win a campaign against a Republican.

Are you under the impression that it's NOT common practice to make the other side look bad (even when they've already done it well enough to themselves) when you're trying to beat them?

Why is it that so many people can't see that government, if small, will still be beneficial, but will cost the individual less? The more government workers hired means more taxes, or else robbing from one area to provide for the newer area. Bigger is better in the porn industry, but not in government!

Yeah- just as over the top as the Republicans who say that America will be destroyed if Obama is re-elected.

    Imagine politicians using inflamatory rhetoric?

Meanwhile- round up all the usual suspects.

Not necessarily. There is at least one way to have all the programs people want without being so costly and detrimental.
