How the liberals in this group can support Barack Obama is beyond me.

This President is the most incompetent and "ideologically rigid" president in American history!

In recent days, Obama has thrown in the towel on leadership. Now all he can find himself to do is snip and rail against the Republican leadership! Obama is not a leader and he never was a leader; this man has been in campaign mode every since he has assumed office.

Our nation has spent hundreds of billions of dollars in stimulus, health care reform, etc. and, despite being completely unrealistic, the liberal media was relentless in echoing Democrats insistences that these expenses would somehow save or create millions of new jobs - but these jobs that we were promised have ever never materialized.

Obama is not worthy of the office of the president. Since this man has been president, our economy has suffered even more and our race relation have hit a new low in America history.

Under Obama and his foolish and ridiculous statements, the races today have been polarized as never before!

I don't know... I'd say Lincoln holds that title (for the polarizing part).

Well, let their support be instructive to you - this IS the Left. Incompetence is an issue for the loony tunes since they weren't able to transform the nation into a socialist state to the degree they had hoped. And rigidity is certainly a plus, not a minus, to ideologues of both Left and Right varieties.

    You are correct, darckriver.

Thanks to the incompetent policies of Obama, the radical Left and their foolish ideas for America are going down in flames in 2012. Their socialist goals will be discarded and thrown forever on the trash heap of history!

Don't bet on that last statement. Americans have short memories and shallow minds. Plus, the Left isn't just going to evaporate after 2012. They'll be back. Remember this - a fairly significant proportion (maybe one third?) of the population either subscribe to the Left's nonsense, or are at least gullible enough to be sold their bs. In spite of the pathetic history of their failed ideas, they'll be back - and be embraced once again by a populace looking for a magical, fatherly benefactor. This war has just begun.

The damage that the democrats has done is going to be with us for a very long time. I for one will be thinking about it every time I take out my checkbook to write a check to the Department of the Treasury every three months for the rest of my life.

Here is one example: Obama stole half a trillion dollars from Medicare to fund that abomination of a health bill. This is not going to go away. When people see their Medicare benefits being cut, because the money just isn't there. It will be made very clear why that is the case. People are going to be reminded of the damage these morons have done for a very long time. What is truly amazing though, is for all they tried to do to really consolidate their power, they are going to be booted out in the next election, so it was all for nothing. They really were convinced that they were setting themselves up for that 40 years of democrat rule.

Our children and grand children will be picking up the tab the this administration's failures. This will not be soon forgotten, because it is coming out of where it hurts the most, the pocket book.

Now will another socialist come along and make absurd promises like Obama? Of course. The something for nothing crowd will always be there with their hands out.

He's definitely rigid. No doubt about that. His idea of compromise (which he demands a lot) seems to be Republicans giving up everything and submitting to whatever he wants.

He is very competent. That's not to say he doesn't make mistakes, but polarization is in fact a sign of his competence because he appears to have some of the right enemies.

    You are funny, botenth.

Please give up one example of where his policies have actually succeeded!

    You can't!

Obama is the most incompetent and most polarizing president in American history!

    Sad. ...Very Sad.

"Obama is the most incompetent and most polarizing president in American history! "

I agree, just barely edging out GW Bush.

To a lefty the enemy should be the general public. Dumbasses are too stupid to know what is good for them, need the mighty Obama to tell them.

    You are correct, Whaler17.

The kids who are protesting and camping out on Wall Street with their back packs and expensive i-phones and i-pads are a perfect example.

Many local news reporters asked then what were they protesting and none of the them could give the public a good answer!

    This part was very good.

"There is Obama's inability to make a decision, his "drift," his "loss of interest," and Summers once again. Orszag is quoted as telling Suskind, "Larry would say [to Obama], 'I'll make my argument first; you can go after me.'" Orszag then recalls to Suskind something Suskind was to hear from countless others, "I'm thinking, 'I can't believe he's talking to the president that way.' I just don't know why Obama didn't say, 'I made that decision a week ago. Just do what I say.'" Well, Obama probably did not make that decision a week ago. In another meeting, after "a dozen arguments," Suskind writes, "Obama, in a voice that was softly dispirited, said, 'Well, if you guys can't agree, I mean, we don't have to do it.'" As I say, this is from one page. The book continues, and makes very painful reading even for me in all my vindication.'

While the oil flowed, the nitwit had no concern about the environmental degradation, his only concern was how he could get a hold of BP's cash. The most inept loser I have ever seen in my life. The spill wasn't capped for several months, however, liens were placed against BP by the end of the first day. TOTAL LOSER. If he wasn't an affirmative action president, he would have been fired.

    Ha-Ha!

The problem is his most vocal critics are in his own party!

This is clearly rationalization at its best!

Herbert Hoover was the most ideological President. He had a very determined opinion on how to handle the Great Depression and it was that opinion that helped make it the Great Depression. This also made him fairly polarizing, as many people disagreed with his actions.

As for the Gallup poll, most American's grasp of history is hazy at best. I don't think a poll is a good way of trying to determine such things, or the love life of the Kardashians would be of more importance to Congress than what to do in Afghanistan.
