Thanks for proving my point in other threads, that these people are anti-capitalist communists and nothing more.

You even linked to a Marxist website....lol.

Any liberals wish to tell us any different now?

Hey, we have been calling this for years. Obama's voting block is anti-capitalist and communist/socialist.

I am just glad to see someone finally admit to it.

As a liberal, I am not a Marxist. I will admit that the Occupy Wall Street protesters have a large socialist following. I agree with their intentions in holding the financial sector accountable. However, I feel that they may have some aspects of ideological ignorance or exorbitant idealism.

I have a more pragmatic perspective on the matter. It is in the best interests of our nation to hold both the financial sector and the governmental mechanisms that feed them accountable. The Occupy Wall Street prostesters are addressing one side of the issue, but not the other.

Ironically, it is the Tea Party that tries to address the other side of the issue. They are against crony capitalism in government. As a result, maybe the protesters and the Tea Party are not so different. One fights from the left, the other from the right. Granted, these two groups disagree on a plethora of issues, and have completely different demographics, but they all want an end to crony capitalism in some form.

How many of these hippies have jobs?

And how many of these hippies who have jobs make enough money to pay Federal income tax?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

I read a detailed story, and the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations do not have the numbers that the Tea Party demonstrations had. I don't think this movement has any broad base with the American people. I don't think any of this is going to translate into votes for anyone. I think when it's over, it will be as if it didn't happen.

    Thediplomat:

To comparethis protest to the Tea Party is a huge mistake.

This OWS is against the form of government the US has. It's a communist protest, against freedom and capitalism. That is what it is. The Tea Party is a direct opposite movement. There is no middle ground between the 2. Tea Party wants to restore individual liberty to the people, while OWS wants to strip the people of that liberty. Look at their demands. More free stuff, funded by those willing to work for it.

Your staring Marxism in the face with the OWS. Wall Street is a scapegoat. Wall Street doesn't cause people to lose their homes. Nor does it make the government spend more then it brings in.

The OWS is the beginning of the Communist march in the USA. Most of them don't even know what the hell they are protesting. You got freak college professors insiting their students to protest b/c academia is where the Communists went back in the 60s in order to influence the future of America.

Do you know how much it costs to go to those colleges in New York that are out there protesting?.....lol.

This is a very small movement and I assure you, there aren't that many of them. Not only are they communists, they are doin this to try and drum up a re-election campaign issue for Obama to use b/c the poor bastard communist in the White House can't run on anything he has done b/c nobody in their right mind supports what he has done, except for the truly ignorant and the communist/socialists of the left who want to overthrow capitalism and install European socialism.

Did you people who voted for Obama not understand what he meant when he wanted to "fundamentally change America"? Now ya know what those of us have known since 2007 and have been telling you people was coming with this idiot.

I cannot agree with your comments on OWS theHat, as I don't know enough about their demographics, their principles, their ideology, etc. However, I can make a rational comparison between the Tea Party and OWS. It is a very fundamental comparison, and it is based upon the core values of each movement. One movement wants to end crony capitalism among the financial sector, the other wants to end crony capitalism within the government. Crony Capitalism doesn't mean an end to Capitalism, which many Tea Partyers are against. The OWS protesters definitely have a larger socialist following. I admitted this is my previous post. However, both fight crony Capitalism, one from the right against government, another from the left against the financial sector. This is what bonds them, but the mountain of other ideological differences divide them, which you have showcased.

How come these morons aren't out protesting colleges and universities ever? I mean, talk about the biggest scam in the country. All these fools believe that education should be free, so why don't they protest the college that charges $400 a credit and $500 for a textbook?

Keep whistling in the dark. Baggers were all paid for by the Koches and supported by Fox.

This the real thing. An American Spring.

"Dozens" of Occupy Everything'ers showed up in Dallas yesterday and marched to the Federal Reserve Bldg. It was said they planned to set up camp at the JFK memorial, but since it's against a city ordinance to sleep on city property, I'm pretty sure that didn't happen. They got very little news coverage and even less public interest. No surprise there.

You would have been so proud of me. I went by them today on Harry Hines Blvd. Pulled over and reved my Escalade a few times, rolled down the window and yelled "Get a job you dirty hippies!" Laughed a few times and one guy got really pissed (as pissed as socialists can get) and just for fun I yelled as I pulled away "Better dead than red you dirty hippie!" :D

Man the cops were fast to wave me off but I riled those free loading children up just enough to really (*)(*)(*)(*) them off.

Tomorrow I might go back and crank Slayer from my car. Hippies can't handle death metal
