    1. Does this approximately describe your view of wall street protests in combination of uprisings in the middle east? that in the middle east people are protesting oppression, while in America the punks are there no one knows why probably to get laid or cause trouble?

    2. If so, explain the coinsidence that it is here in America that the country is supposedly so much in debt and not over there.

There are many problems in the USA, and the protesters are sending a warning that so much is very wrong and that lawmakers should systematically make a list and start fixing the problems one-by-one -- but don't take too long on one problem and stall to avoid fixing the others.

Now a lot of these protests appear to be class warfare. As if Glen Beck's arguments actually affected these people so much they go after a stock exchange, a place to buy and sell stocks -- whether you're rich or poor, as the answer to all their problems. I think they are wrong for that -- they will hang the poor as well as the rich -- it isn't their place to hang the rich either.

But, they are correct that there is a great economic disparity and no jobs for the young, I know you've heard this all for years, but nothing was done to fix the jobs problem. Just like nothing was done to fix the budget, or make Social Security strong so that future generations would benefit. Forget the baby boomer generation crisis, it is just a symptom of the real crisis. The 20-30 jobs crisis is the real problem, since they are the biggest population group in the USA. They will have the hardest time of both life and retirement, since the <20 year old population is so much smaller (Look at the age breakdown of the USA 2010 census). :omg:

edit: Actually I'm wrong the high 20-30 somethings are in DC not the nation as a whole, but still young people are struggling with poverty:

The real protests don't begin until it involves the working class and lots of blood.
