The rich with the help of republicans are ruining our country because they could pay for all our bills but choose not to. We are the 99 percent and you should not be corporate slaves any longer while your bosses make millions more than you due to corporate greed.

Our mission is to make them pay for our socialist health care measures and deficits to our government programs like food stamps and other welfares. We can not let them get away with more deficit spending at our expense because they evade taxes due to loopholes and lower tax rates than the average working man.

We are backed by george soros(moveon.org), the unions, and local welfare offices to help fund us during these revolutionary times so please take some time off work or a vacation and join the protests to help your country as I have. I have to go beat the bongo drums but I will return to keep you informed on our progress thanks.

You can claim "99%" all you want but if you want socialist health care, $20/hr minimum wages and 1 trillion dollars in environmental spending and other freebies the American People in general will just laugh at you.

(*)(*)(*)(*), if you people actually did get your way, I'd launch a counter revolution only it won't be protests. I'd be bombing union halls, student organizations and do whatever other trouble I could get into to make left wing socialists lives miserable.

So you REALLY REALLY think this is ALL because of REPUBLICANS?? You sir are not to be taken seriously than are you? You are NOT the 99% percent I can guarantee you that, and you will soon find that out, and you will need to crawl back into your progressive marxist hole again until you remerge agains someday with a whole new ridiculous idenity.

"Us?" So you are there than? Where do you get the time, food, and money? Tell us how you are managing it all? Are you rich? Do you have money in your pocket BECAUSE of Capitalism? What would you like to replace it with? Will you turn to violence soon, if you don't get whatever it is that not even you can name? Do you like looking like a complete idiot doing the finger movements in the air, and repeating everything a speaker is saying? Don't you feel kind of retarded doing it? Is that some new thing your cult leader handed out while you were smoking your last dube under your tarp last night? How did you all know to do that?

Have you had any sex while you are there? Where do you take a crap? Why are you making it hard for people to get to work? Why are you not supporting local business? Why do you want to put them out of business? Why is it mostly white's in the crowd? Are you racists? Who organized you? If you have the time to protest, shouldn't you be looking for a job? Are you against all business owners? Or, are you just against wall st? What will you do if you really do crash the stock market? Will you become cannibals when there is no more food, clothing or medicine because of your stupid ignorance?

These are all question I would like answers to before I join you....Can you answer them please?

Here is the biggest most important question of all.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE ARE NO MORE RICH PEOPLE?!

WHO PAYS FOR ALL THIS FREE (*)(*)(*)(*) THAT YOU EXPECT??

Even if it is 80% (but it's more)... this would be highly significant. Without a doubt, the wealth and the politicians had turned a DEAF EAR to the struggles of the middle class; now the attention-getting has begun.

The "Right" tried to CREATE a 'fake' version of what is going on (with the Tea Party), but this "Occupy" movement is real and important in ways that the Tea Party could never match.

What do you think people are trying to change; in your own words?

I'm tired of people who TALK the way you do; YOU threaten violence. That is the mark of someone who is at least an intransigent fool!

Look, for 30+ years, I've dealt in weaponry that could take out city blocks at a time. I DESPISE it when some pseudo-hard-ass, threatens violence. I work with young men and women in their teens, who are more responsible with their words, than it seems YOU will ever be.

Considering what you said above, I think you should be reported to the FBI; your words are simply STUPID and VIOLENT and people SHOULD be concerned.

LMAO! More jealous socialists trying to take the easy way out by taking other people's money.

You do know that Obama gave them a bailout with your money right? I think you're marching on the wrong street. Try the White House.

Oh, cut the crap. With all the violent (*)(*)(*)(*) your party regularly engages in, getting self-righteous against him would make you the biggest hypocrite in the world. The Discovery Channel shooter? Jared Loughner? Both violent left wing psychopaths. And being that Occupy Wallstreet has assaulted police officers, we can put them in the violent offenders category too.

Hang your head in shame. Your phony outrage is all based on politics. Not a shred of it is based on principle.

I support the basic idea behind it.

But I think they are attacking the wrong people - or at least - people who are doing even more harm to America (imo) then those on Wall Street.

I think they should be camped outside of the Congress and the White House AND the headquarters of the Democrats and the Republicans.

And I believe the federal government is LOVING these protests because it deflects attention away from their failings, lets the masses blow off some steam and lets them trick themselves into thinking they are actually making a difference (which of course they are not).

And Wall Street really doesn't care much what protesters want, so long as the politicians they have bribed using lobbyists still support them and will enact laws and bailouts when they want them to.

As long as this keeps up - Wall Street and Washington will let the protests go on for as long as they can (imo).

Personally, I think that BOTH parties have contributed to this problem, in their own ways. And while I don't think this movement is as 'partisan' as some would like to believe, it IS a wake-up call to Wall Street AND Washington.

After all, if the "Government" (or Republicans) were fully responsible for all of this unnecessary pain being inflicted upon the middle class, then the movement would have likely started out as "Occupy D.C.", but people aren't as stupid as those pulling the strings might 'believe'. The PEOPLE realize that Wall Street (while being a necessary tool within this society), is also responsible for the bulk of the problems we are seeing.

Many times, I've talked about "GREED" affecting this society (right here in this forum), and sadly many (mostly on the "Right") practically sought to JUSTIFY it. I remember a couple of weeks ago, I had some fool telling me that corporate 'greed' didn't exist. :(

Actually, I'm happy that this is happening, though it is exciting and troubling at the same time. I can't say it is unnecessary. I'm generally PROUD of the American middle class right now; people have proven by their 'movement' that they are not asleep. They do see things in a more realistic way what I had previously imagined.

And my take (this morning anyway) is this:

If Wall Street (and those who are corporation-friendly) wants to RUN the country (whether they care to be called 'government' or not)... then they are RESPONSIBLE in a profound way for the well-being of THE PEOPLE. And those PEOPLE will see to it that is know/regarded. This movement was bound to happen, I just wondered when/how (and that is still unfolding).

As I said above, I blame BOTH parties for letting things come to this, but I cannot help but blame Republicans more at this juncture; and that is due to their character in Congress and in Governorships in the states... over the last 3 years. They talk like great FREEDOM-LOVING PATRIOTS, while actually seeking to tie the hands of those who might oppose them. People have seen enough of that, and are finally yelling... WTF?!! Still, some Democrats have bought-in or been paid for by corporations, and are just as responsible; this whirlwind of PROTEST should speak to them as well.

No, the march is in the correct place. Because Wall Street, the markets are the boss of Obama. So they are protesting at the boss of Obama.

Most astute politicians 'realize', the protests are headed for D.C.; but in a world with communication systems as those we possess today... what needs to be heard/seen, can be initiated from virtually ANYWHERE. Still, the symbolism of people actually going to D.C., will be very powerful (as it typically is).

Yes! If people have been following the money-trail, they realize corporations are to a large degree in control of this nation. And Congress needed to see the movement of the PEOPLE to be effective in the power struggle they are about to embark upon. Even a political novice realizes, that MONEY is equal to power (in many cases). But the people speaking in the manner which is taking place today, is a seriously profound show of power which even money cannot actually match; the very nature of it makes it more potent than money overall.

It may seem powerful to you.

But, imo, it will accomplish squat.

Until politicians feel like they are losing VERY substantial numbers of votes...they will not care much what a bunch of broke demonstrators and rich celebrities think.

Of course, they will act like they care a GREAT deal.

It's real, and it is serious.

I'm not talking about any freaking "party" here, I'm talking about individuals participating within this forum. What? Do you condone threats of violence coming from forum members? If so, do you think that is a good thing?

You don't know what you're talking about. Please, find any post of mine and link to it, where I have threatened violence upon this nation or groups of people. IF I ever did that, it would surely be a regrettable mistake.

And sorry if you are one to tolerate such violent threats, but I AM NOT.

This forum isn't Loughner; do you see the difference?

Are there any in this forum?

Are they (individual fringe-minded protesters) here making threats of violence here in this forum?

Ha-Ha! What are you talking about?

    Try me. :)

IMO, the protest is a socialist movement. I would more likely protest the protest.

As usuall, the left are ignoring the real problem which is Washington.

    It is powerful.

It will accomplish more, than if people had not demonstrated. This is not like a single person or 1000 of them writing to Congress. (And 100 letters to any corporation accomplishes what?)

What is one of the strongest ways to TELL THEM something?

I don't know the exact outcomes, but whenever people can be 'moved' as this many have been, it is very significant. In time, policy WILL be affected or emerge from the same. PEOPLE realize this.

I wonder why so many people prefer to imagine, that much of America is (and has been) VERY "socialist"? LOL!! Look, no one is calling for the USSR to erect itself here, but it is evident that the American PEOPLE would not care to be RULED by capitalists operating from corporate towers. That is what I call 'obvious'.

Do you REALLY think that the "Left" isn't after D.C.? :) (Come on.)

This movement is nothing more than stupid ill informed youth that feel they are making a difference because they're jumping around and screaming.

This is serious stuff and many of them are just having fun while not knowing of the world of crap they are creating. This movement is going to get stronger and turn really ugly really fast.

You never had tea partiers getting arrested but these kids are acting like animals. They want to get arrested and get beaten by cops so they can scream out police brutality.

In short, I hate this stupid group of idiot kids who are going to (*)(*)(*)(*) up everything. I do not support them one bit.

Like that famous quote goes "do not under estimate stupid people in large numbers.

It's people like you that make occupy wallstreet look like a bunch of nuts. It's not about parties, it's about the plutocracy and bringing an end to state privilege and corporations using government power.

It's the idiots that want socialized health care that everyone wants to avoid...

Anyway, Obama is a corporate slut and accepts money from wallstreet as well as bailing out the banksters.

Simple - start a nationwide petition that has tens of millions of signatures of people will not vote for Obama/Democrats in 2012 unless he/they do 'such and such'.

A bunch of broke people (with a few celebrities) sitting in a park telling Wall Street they suck is going to do squat (imo).

Wall Street cannot directly change laws.

And they certainly do not give a rat's buttocks what poor protesters or a few celebrities think (celebrities are usually anti-big business anyway).

I think they should be in Washington outside the WH, Congress and the Dem/Rep headquarters if they really want to get something done.

BTW - I wonder how many of these protesters that hate greedy corporations SO much have iPhones and are wearing clothes from WalMart (two large, greedy corporations)?

You don't seem to get it why people on the right are so angry that they talk about violence.

We wake up every day and turn on the news, and get told

    A)We're racists

B)We're uneducated retards incapable of thinking past what Fox news tells us

C)We're shills for the rich and don't know any better, despite the fact that most of us on the right probably work directly for rich people who actually have human faces and names and therefore can't be categorized according to some mythical boogie man caricature.

D)We supposedly are responsible for the murder of a bunch of people and wounding of a Congresswoman in AZ

    E)We're greedy

F)We're facists and belong with Hitler

G)We're religious fanatics along the lines of David Koresh and Jim Jones.

H)We're xenophobic and hateful towards immigrants

    I)We're science haters and deniers

J)We're secessionists and neo-confederates trying to subvert democracy and tear the nation apart, all because we won't go along with Obama and Democrat tyranny.

I mean the lies just go on and on and on and we have to read them in every newspaper or on TV every day, in and out.

We have to watch our economic freedoms being crushed and destroyed by an over powerful Regulatory State and when we resist the Regulatory State we are castigated as trying to destroy it and the Earth's environment along with it.

Its a never ending barrage of lies and insults and strawmen that constantly move across the screen. We protest peacefully, and leave spotlessly clean lawns when we're done. We're respectful and kind and truly peaceful in our protests.

So the Leftwing propaganda machine makes up lies, puts plants in the crowd with bad signs and takes pictures and go around harassing our black candidates, hounding them over and over again to tell the truth about "racism" they supposedly experienced.

I mean really man, it's gotten out of control and whipped people into a frenzy.

These people are lucky I don't live in NYC because I would be out there doing the most profane and ugly counter protest imaginable. People aren't out there protesting "corporate greed" they are out there protesting the very foundations of America!

I agree with the premise of the protests. But I have to admit that I'm disappointed in the tactics these people...or some of them at least...have employed. Unfortunately when I read this sort of garbage:
    I wanna :puke:

But then I remember the source of such drivel...and I laugh. But I also feel bad for all of America. She's been raped by both sides and is now a common corporate whore. Neither Democrats or Republicans are innocent...both took part in the "gang-bang" of Lady Liberty.

I encourage you to continue the good fight...but I implore you to do it like adults. Do not engage in dumb crap that only discredits your movement. And for Gawd's sake...do not engage in mindless ideology and whining...like we see in the quote above...
