    Is there anything Republicans won't do to control women? What's next? Are they going to try and dictate when a woman can and can't have sex? Thank goodness this bill is not likely to pass the senate, and even if it did, Obama would veto it:

    It is sad that in these trying times with wholesale unemployment, poverty, people losing their homes, and America descending rapidly into a third-world country, republicans/T-baggers remain so obsessed with women's uteruses.

    Instead of their preoccupation with fetuses women carry around, the republicans/T-baggers should expend more energy in solving the problem of actual starving living babies who die by the thousands every week in every third world country.

    Where is their fervor for saving lives in this instance?

    Any representaive of government who voted FOR this bill should be voted out of office, as it is unConstitutional and continued harassment of women, and their abilitiy to govern their own bodies.

    Liberals really don't care about the women that have to have abortions to save their lives. They couldn't care less, actually. Liberals want free access to abortion so that they could (*)(*)(*)(*) around as much as they want and not have to live with any of the consequences.

    Actually, I'm playing devil's advocate a bit in this thread. I don't actually have a huge emotional investment in this issue. If liberals want to keep themselves from reproducing, I can see many upsides.
