All kidding aside, proposing a 9% TOP income tax rate to the millionaires really ought to get Cain LOTS more millionaire donations than he's getting just for thoughtfulness!

 

Perry's campaign has hired two former Cain aides from the National Restaurant Asscoiation and Cain's former Senatorial campaign committee. This is the basis of his accusation.

 

They don't want it because they know it will make them pay more. You forget the 9% corporate tax as well.

Not to mention the inability to lobby for loopholes for their companies.

Think about it! For business and the wealthy, there is ENORMOUS slack in simply deciding "what is income"?

Fat cats will continue sending their children their children to private schools in limousines on the company expense accounts! (Security, ya know!)

$5000 champagne lunches, weeks in Paris, private jets, luxury cars, million dollar private boxes at sports stadiums, homes in Aspen, not ONE of those things is affected by Cain's 999, Perry's goofy plan, or anything else the Right Wing proposes. NONE of them are "income" NOW, and NONE of them will be income under ANY "flat tax".

Well (*)(*)(*)(*) HER. Do you understand that just because a woman finds a particular behavior offensive does not make it sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is not subjective it is clearly defined in law.

For harassment to be harassment legally the accuser has to prove:

A)An established pattern of gross behavior over an extended period of time

and/or

B)That the accused offered a Quid Pro Quo of some sort in exchange for entering into a mutually unsatisfactory relationship.

THAT is the LAW regarding sexual harassment.

A man is perfectly allowed to make a proposition or a pass to a coworker without expecting to be sued for sexual harassment. Once turned down, if the behavior continues then it can be considered harassment, but merely hitting on a female coworker is not harassment.

Moreso, the woman has to specifically vocalize her dislike of the behavior and only if such vocalization is ignored can harassment be considered. Stop abusing the law for ideological and political gain! A million women could come out and say they were "offended" by Herman Cain making a pass at them, but that is not sexual harassment.

I just took an extensive training course on this. Herman Cain is a businessman, a class of person I work with every single day and I can assure you that at conventions, hotels, etc.. sexualized behavior between opposite gender coworkers is commonplace and accepted.
