Have the "Occupy Wall Street" protestors overstayed their welcome?

The very liberal New York Post says they have!

    Ha-Ha!

What will Obama and the foolish Democrats who support the liberal causes of these spoiled, pampered rich kids do now?

"What began as a credible protest against bank bailouts, crony capitalism and the like has, in large measure, been hijacked by crazies, commies and criminals."

    Little matter now.

OWS has whipped up such a frenzied wave of socialist populism, that beat down will just add fuel to the fire. Better to let them destroy themselves with their failed social experiment so people see personally what happens to socialist communities and imagine that scenario on a national scale as the protestors just quietly fade away into the snow covered night.

The problems in Zuccotti Park can all be laid at Bloomberg's doorstep. As the story says, he's shown no leadership in this at all. The park owners have been waiting for him to step up and he never had the balls to do so.

I agree with Silicon Magician - it's a going to be too late now. Judging by what's happened in Oakland, Bloomberg's going to have a real mess on his hands if he tries to evict them.

And that's another thing we are hearing very little about: how much this has cost all these cities in police overtime, cleanup, etc.

While I think the OccuCommies should return to their parents' basements, I'm inclined to agree with you, SM. The longer this drags out, the more people will come to understand the nature of the protests, despite the efforts of their sympathizers in the MSM to conceal that from the public.

You're right - self-destruction is on the horizon with this crowd. Either they're going to fade away as the public catches on to them, or they'll implode in a spasm of violence like the SDS et al imploded in '68...

    You are correct, Mad Conservative.

However, things have worked out for the best.

If Bloomberg had thrown them out early and used police force, the liberal media would have been all over him for doing so!

However, by letting them stay as long as they have, we have learned how disorganized, spoiled, violent and reactionary these young people really are.

Public opinion has turned against these foolish young anarchists, and most people no longer support their highly reactionary socialist causes!

It will be fun to watch these clowns self-destruct!

Like a lighted bottle rocket that took a wrong (Left) turn while in erratic flight!

I hope they take Pelosi and Reid down with them!

    You are correct, Mad Conservative.

Maybe the City of New York will have to contract out and put some private sector people back to work!

Just don't hire the people who have caused the problems!

    Ha-Ha!
