If Greece tries to leave the EU and default, will Europe invade to prevent it?

Could we be seeing a European "War of Northern Aggression" in the making? It seems that the Euro Technorati are becoming more and more authoritarian, less willing to accept democracy from any one individual nation and given the stakes involved, could it happen?

Are the Euros themselves willing to force the Greeks to heel by military action in order to save the EU and the Euro?

So they invade and force the Greeks to spend Euros they haven't got.

    Then what?

Remember that Europeans are among of the most anti-war people in the world - 'liberal pussіes', if you will. So, no. They're definitely not going to fight.

They claim to be the most pro-democracy people as well but were more than willing to flay Papandreou when he tried to take the issue to the Greek People.

They are snuffing out Democracy and forcibly stripping sovereignty. I don't care if the Greeks are a bunch of socialists and commies, they are a free people with the right to self determination free from Eurocrat dictates.

By 'they', you're referring to other, higher-ranking democratically elected representatives who, in all their flaying, didn't overstep the bounds laid out in the EU treaties.

Papandreou couldn't get the measure through the parliament, 6 backbenchers had promised to oppose it. His own finance minister was against the move and the greek president had come out against it.

    :bored:

But sure lets blame everything on "Eurocrats"

Why would Europe do that? I hope Europe don't become USA 2. However Europe is becoming too similar to USA.

Except the Greeks themselves want to stay in the Euro Zone.

Then they will have to accept the dictates of the EU parliament, and the banks and IMF.
