“Because Mr. Cain is such a showman, because he preaches the need for a sense of humor, it’s easy for us to be seduced by his rapid-fire one liners, his singing of “imagine there’s no pizza,” and his smoking chief of staff. It’s all good fun. But, while Mr. Cain’s campaign might be a joke, his conduct, his alleged conduct, is not. In fact, as the accusations pile up, Mr. Cain seems less funny by the day and more like a dirty old man.’ “

Finally someone actually gets it!! Cain thought he could never be caught in his after hours predatory pursuits involving women, and it is all coming tumbling out much to his astonishment and mortification. There is no end to his denials, ravings, bluntly telling the press “Not to go there” and refusing to answer any questions. Running to Fox News, where he will have a sympathetic audience, and freedom to spew his lies without any questions being asked, he thought he had the thing under control…but that was before the third and fourth woman started telling her story to the press.

Now he is a broken joker, his humor falling flat like an old man without Viagra, his disreputable appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show and we all get to look at the new Herman Cain without the humor; his true personality shining forth for the media as he strode out refusing to answer any questions, glowering menacingly at the cameras. Never has a cloak fallen so quickly, leaving the man naked and shivering in the limelight of public opinion.

Herman, go back to your wife, see if she really forgives you for the way you have disrespected her, and then go to your church and become an elder and then you can sit out on your porch in Hicksville in the cool evenings, wondering why people didn’t like you…...not even the republicans.

And I would bet she has kept silent about his peccadilloes for 30 years.

Martin Bashir? Unbiased? The guy who killed Michael Jackson? The guy who did a bizarre op-ed piece attempting to tie a completely unrelated bashing of Sarah Palin in with a eulogy of Steve Jobs? That clown is your idea of objective?

Let me tell you something about Martin Bashir. That limey little brit has become a rock star in the media world and he eats up every minute of it. The guy signs autographs like he's the interviewee instead of the interviewer. He LOVES the spotlight. Everything he does is to increase his own star power.

There is a special place in hell for people like Martin Bashir. There is no depth he won't stoop to in order to advance his career. He is a slimey little opportunist of the worst kind.

 

Got that right. I feel sorry for her. She seems like a decent person thrown into a maelstrom by her amoral and feckless husband.

 

Well.. he's the poster boy for "old fool"......

I have known successful men like Cain.. and they do have talent, but it goes awry when they begin to believe their own PR.. and they always hurt their wives and families.

 

I think that's it exactly. He was so self-deluded that he apparently actually thought his past wouldn't be examine in a presidential election.

Talk about a sense of entitlement.

And now his act that he is soooo put upon makes him look like a total fool and coward If you run for president, you have to take the heat. It comes with the territory. He just wasn't man enough to take it. Probably spoiled from having so many yes men around him from his pizza pie days.

No question that Clinton was a dog.. but a really smart dog... and this presidential race isn't about Clinton.

Cain is a dog and a dumb one. He is in no way equipped to deal with the issues, foreign or domestic..

He's too old.. Heck he wants to increase military spending without knowing squat about foreign policy.. How stupid is that?

 

Precisely. That's one randy man. But he was smart enough to figure out how to outflank the hypocritical GOP attack and come out with higher public approval than any president since FDR.

Cain, like all the baggers, are subliterate amateurs.

 

How is Obama equipped to "deal with the issues, foreign or domestic"? He's an utter unaccomplished failure.

Clinton, the smart dirty old man, left his DNA on a intern's dress. The Democrats in the senate just shat upon their oaths. He wasn't smart. He got caught being a felon in the WH. The Dems simply destroyed their honor for all time. Truman must be spinning in his grave.

Obama has done well with foreign policy.. not so much with the economy.. but unlike you.. I knew it would take ten years for the US to recover and was prepared for the hardship.
