I found all these stories after a five-minute surf through the internet. My guess is I could find dozens more if I kept looking.

A man has been killed. People have been attacked, raped, and beaten. Businesses have been vandalized, crapped upon, and stolen from.

These "Occupy" people have no respect for anyone and I don't think we should put up with their illegal and violent misconduct any more.

It is time for the leaders of our cities to give the police the go-ahead to clean this scum off the streets and back to the gutters where they belong.

All sources I've linked to are mainstream media, and many have a liberal bias. These stories aren't coming from the right wing, they are coming from news agencies who are sympathetic to the "Occupy" cause.

But facts are facts, and all the violence can't be ignored, even by the anti-business, pro-Obama media.

Will you pretend this isn't happening? Who will join you in your imaginary little world where everything is sunshine and rainbows at the "Occupy" camps?

because those on the right are uneducated (they openly admit they are against education) they buy into the fake smile and slogans that giving rich people money is best for everyone. But giving the poor money or safety nets is "communism". Eventually this country will have to adopt more socialistic policies that benefit many...even if its at the expense of the few.

Contrast this with the violence and filth of the "Occupy" Protestors, who attack cops and EMTs, demand free food from vendors (and attack their carts if denied) crap all over the outside of buildings, rape women, sell drugs, etc.

Pretty clearly. We've had 40 years of income redistribution going entirely the wrong way. The rich have gotten much richer. They have not had to work hard for it. The rest have gotten poorer. They HAVE had to work hard just in order not to become poorer still. Enough is enough. The jig is up. It's time we turned a corner.

 

The "right wing" does not loathe the 99%. They disagree with the lawless and disgusting antics of many of the OWS protesters.

It is amusing when you think about it. The Tea Party and OWS share some common ground regarding bank bailouts and foreclosures yet you continue to make it all about "right wing" vs "left wing".

 

I am in the top 5% and I'm not sure I'll ever get there, but if I tripled my salary I would be in the top 1% of income earners. So it's not that big of a deal to be in the top 1% of income earners. You can be in the top 1% and not even have a lot of money in your bank account.

Many of the top 1% live in big cities like New York and Los Angeles where the cost of living is high and you need to earn a high salary just to make it.

My standard of living here in Las Vegas is better than a man making twice or three times as much money in New York. I live in a four-bedroom house with a backyard, own two cars, and support my wife and three children (my wife works, adding a bit more to our income). In New York, I'd be lucky to afford a one or two-bedroom apartment with three times what I make. I could not afford to have children if I lived in New York.

If I moved to New York and got an equivalent job to what I'm doing, I would be in the top 1% but my life would be a struggle.

Instead of attacking people who make money, why don't you attack the clown posse in Congress who put us in this mess with their tampering with the mortgage market and then the bailouts that followed?

The whole "Occupy" movement is directed at the wrong problem so it will never succeed at anything.

 

The difference between the faithful and the godless is a clean park as opposed to a dirty park.

Scientific studies show that seeing political opinions opposite your own literally trigger the same receptors in the brain that cause pain.

When someone is so wrapped up in a certain belief, it is literally hurting them to show them what they do not want to see.

You could lay the facts out in front of them, and it won't matter, they will engage in intentional ignorance rather than admit the truth because the fact is, the truth does hurt.

We're all guilty of it, both rightwing and left but when the left engages in it, they become dangerously violent.

 

If you will, explain to us all what the point is of claiming 99 % ? Why not 98 % ? Or 90 %. Subtract it from 100% and you have the balance of the "richer than you are" folks, if you identify with the lower bracket.
