The Truth About The 1% and OWS

Whats the truth about the 1%? Most people in the 1% only remain there for a year. Infact, you dont even need to make a half of a million dollars to be in the 1%. If you sell your house, your probaly in the 1%, especially if you live just about anywhere in California.

The fact of it all is that the OWS movement is trying to drum up bolshevik style class welfare in order to acheive the same egalitarian style revolutions that led to the destruction of millions of lives and the economic impoverishment of billions in China, North Korea, USSR, Cuba, etc etc etc. They want mob rule where property rights are nonexistant, blaiming the banks for the corruption in Washington when it was the leftists that ignored the Constitution and the wizdom of the founders; pushing for congressional authority to exceed the enumerated powers in the Constitution, making corporate and individual welfare possible Now they beleive in individual welfare and gasp when congress also engages in corporate welfare. Whatever happened to "the general welfare," hinting toward money spent for specifically enumerated powers that cannot premote one state, group, or individual over another but affect the general country as a general whole? Any welfare state, whether it is for corperations or individuals, is by definition a state of tyranny and oppression. There is no difference between corperate fat cats who send their lobbyists to Washington and the whining protestors who scream and yell for income equality and government goodies except that they are tugging on the opposite end of the same rope. So whats the truth about OWS and the 1%? The Truth is that there aint a lick of difference between the two.

In the words of Milton Freidman, Those who place equality over individual liberty will get neither. Those who place individual liberty over equality will receive a great deal of both. You see, if everyone is free to their life, liberty, and property, and taxes are paid for the essential services that defend all of our individual liberties from those that would violate them, then by definition you have equality.

Enjoy this article by the exceptionally brilliant economist, Thomas Sowell. Of which I referenced for my first paragraph. http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell110111.php3

The real truth is that the global top 1% makes 32k a year, which probably includes most of the protesters there who aren't on drugs. So like two or three of them.

Anyway, until they donate their wealth to charity they are just part of the greedy top 1%. Hypocrites the lot of them.

If it were up to me, all of them would be shipped to Somalia for a year to learn what poverty really is.

So you've never heard of someone selling a house for a $300,000 profit or more?

Yearly income isn't an average, it is one year at a time. I know of people who pocketed larger profits from the sale of a house than the $300k needed to push their income levels in to the top 1%.

China's markets are not destroying much of anything btw. They are about as overheated as they can get as evidenced by the many interest rate hikes that have taken place in China. On top of that, there is absolutely no logical way you can attribute regulation to anything relating to China's stock market.

This has just gotten silly, people look to a country that has the regulatory environment they are looking for, find some success and proclaim "ZOMG LOOK AT THAT REGULATION WORKS!!!!!ONEONEONE" without any ability to link the success to the regulation other than conjecture.
