Arab League may pave way for military action in Syria

"A military move against Syria could also imply intent to attack Iran, just when the Western states want to dispel the fears that the Iranians, Russians and Chinese have of such an attack.

The Arab League's decision to suspend Syria's membership, impose economic sanctions and discuss transition-period arrangements with the opposition, could pave the way to a military offensive on Syria, similar to the one on Libya."

This is great news for the subjugated, oppressed people of syria who will hopefully be free of the teheran-puppet master bashar. Free of being slaughtered, tortured, shot, etc.

This will hopefully lead to an attack on iran, leading the termination of that illegitimate regime, and then the ending of hezbollah.

This is the first step towards the goal of freedom for all peace-loving people in the mideast.

Out of a population of 20m, how many do you think that would be? Although I am not advocating the killing of civilians by asking.

They will be given an opportunity to vote for a legitimate leader in free and democratic elections...one would hope. Right now the millions who support Assad are denying this opportunity to the millions who oppose him.

Well you just have to look at the videos to see that the pro Assad are way bigger than the Homs and Hama rallies against Assad.

He has a lot more support than against.

I am not a supporter of Assad. I am just saying what I see and wondering what the Einsteins are going to do about all his millions of supporters.

    Execute them all?
    Syria is not Egypt.

Only the criminals and crooks and puppet masters wanted Mubarak to stay on his throne.

The West dont' care about Syrians.
They will care though when the Islamists take over.

Seems to me the West wants to swap the secular Alawites in exchange for Islamic militants.
    Strange don't you think?

now what was the name of the country they last done that in?????? hmmmmmm

we are looking at another Iraq scenario for sure

Well, I have to rely on media reports and as I don't know the language and his rhetoric, am as likely as anyone else to believe otherwise.

They are not even close, the anti-regime demonstrators dwarf the assad supporters, and the only reason he even has any support is due to buying them off with iranian petrodollars.

I doubt it... We have just put more sanctions against Syria.. Namely its central bank and stopping Syrian oil shipments to the EU..

We aren't going to have a confrontation with Russia over Syria.

I'll tell you what is strange. It is strange that the Arab Spring's greatest mouthpiece is now warning of an Islamist takeover.

    1. The things i wrote 3 months ago are slowly coming to life.
    2. Did millions die in Lybia ? No. Same here.
dropping bombs on Assad will surely be less painful then what's going on over there now.
    3. Syria will be divided into three smaller states - Kurdistan, Sunnai Syria and the Allawaits state.
