Serious questions here guys... If Obama was to somehow pull off a miracle victory next year, what would happen?

Would the obstructionist congress begin to work with him even a little once the goal of keeping him out of office is gone?

Would Obama continue to try and circumvent the normal process of our legislative branch with executive orders?

Would Obamacare be cemented in for the most part because all parts would be active by the time his second term ended?

I am not looking for the political slams from either side, although I am sure they will come. I am asking if the branches of government will begin to work together or move further apart and destroy our great country even more?

Seriously, it doesn't matter which party owns the office since both parties are owned by the same corporate elitists.

There will actually be many, not just a few like Barbara Steisand
and Alex Baldwin and Johnny Depp who will leave this Country.
Even though that bunch of Hollywood never did.Depp does
live abroad.Which made headlines when Streisand and Baldwin
swore if Bush got Re-elected back in 2004 they were leaving the
Country.Jessie Ventura { former Navy SEAL } has already threatened
    to move to Mexico.

Even if Obama wins in 2012, I believe the Repub's will keep the House and gain the Senate. That will hopefully put a monkey wrench in Obama's destructive reign of terror.

But I don't want to think about it happening. An Obama win in 2012 will be the end of America as we know it. The country can't survive another 4 years of this.

Buck' is spot on here. There's not a cigarette-paper thickness of difference between the actual and measurable policies of the former Chief Executive and the current one...nor the one before that..nor...

We've been trained to get excited about the distinctions, but in the cool clear light of day the champions of the two party system are seen to be the face-of-the-year fronting for the real power...money and its influence.

Oh, and OCCUPY EVERY [******G] THING!

What do you think would happen if they were to gain the Senate? Would Obama become a veto artist? Or would he be forced to work with Repubs? Would this in turn get the Repubs to work with him? And if Washington actually started to accomplish things who would the general public give the credit to?

I do agree with this on some level. In past administrations and congressional make ups we have usually seen at least some things getting done and some compromises happening. Would Obamas re-election help or further hinder in this respect?

If Obama is reelected tens of millions of conservatives will lose hope. They will become political nihilists who no longer believe they have a stake in the success of the existing order. This will introduce a much heavier dose of poison into the body politic.

Given the openly pitiful results, rancour, acrimony and divisiveness his tenure has inspired...

If Obama is reelected, the number of fools has surpassed the sane.

No society can withstand such an electorate.

Obama didn't isnpire all that.....IMHO....the majority of that was created by people like Rush, Matt Drudge, Andrew Brietbart, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michele Malkin, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and many others.....

The problem is that these people started complaning about Obama being divisive imediatly after Jan 20th 2009, and Obama hadn't even sat once in the presidential chair in the oval office. And you know as well as I.....the GOP media and politicians would never say anything good about Obama, even if they liked what he did.

Obama is being treated the same way Bush was. Leftists subjectively believe they were justified in treating Bush the way they did. In doing so they established a precedent for the treatment of all presidents. We subjectively believe we are justified in treating Obama the way you folks treated Bush. Get over it.

Nothing will happen. Life will go on and the economy will "slowly" fix itself.

If Obama is re-elected IMO we'll see our indvidual/state/business freedoms dwindle. Already lawsuits are pending against states in the union by our DOJ,Obama decides by decree what laws he will and won't defend. Executive orders will be the law while by passing the other 2 constitutional congressional houses will be rendered useless. Spending will go up, bankruptcy looms and credit rating goes down. Lets hope this isn't the future for our country!

I wish DC would be greeted with a permanent state of gridlock. Accomplishing things = bad.

Very slowly. Much slower than it normally behaves.

What's Obama doing right now? He's not doing squat except promising distressed Americans that he's going to tuck them in at night. We need to fix gas prices, our trade deficit and force banks to loan again. Then we'll be all better.

Lower gas prices will increase consumer spending. Forcing banks to loan will help more small businesses get off the ground or stay in business. And decreasing our trade deficit will keep more money in this country. We need to stop North Korea's lover from manipulating their currency which is making it harder for American companies to compete.

Thank you for a straight forward presentation of your opinion. It is nice to see someone that can write a paragraph without going overboard on the insults.
