Whew, glad to see some semblance of sanity exists. The citizens have a right to enjoy their park without harassment from outsiders. Good for the citizens, now who will pay the bill for clean up?

During the Great Depression, tent cities full of the poor sprang up all around the country. They were called Hooverville, after President Herbert Hoover. Now we see the tent cities again, and it seems only logical to call them Obamaville.
But we're not talking about the tent cities of the poor. The OP and ensuing discussion has been regarding the OWS movement. This is a populist movement whose central complaint is "social and economic inequality, corporate greed, corruption and influence over government ..." (taken from Wikipedia). This hasn't anything to do with Obama. It is a result of the hard economic times.
Well they claim to be the 99%, but from what I have seen in person and pictures on the web, I would say they are 1%ers. That is the bottom 1%. It is not just a populist movement, it is also a bunch of hobos, bums, drunks, drug users, homeless, jobless and other assorted pathetic losers.
So what? I'm not talking about the hangers-on who show up as well. They are irrelevant to the core movement. My original question stands: Why are you calling it Obamaville? This is OWS.
