    Margot this ones for you.

Tell us how, since you are the expert on the Saudi madness how these judges of morality judge the 'tempting'.

Do you not see how seriously crazy this Malekat Al Arabeya Saudiya is and how damaging it is to Islam?

There's not really much Saudi Arabia can do that would surprise me at this point.

The most disturbing thing about that article, for me, is the similarity between that and the poor clares fire.

36 little girls burned to death because the nuns wouldn't evacuate the girls in time, reluctant to risk them being seen by men in their nightclothes.

Get real... Over 900 school girls got out of the school BEFORE the staircase collapsed and killed 14.

We have had nightclub fires here in the US and factory fires where hundreds were lost.

But evidently you think one Saudi crackpot represents all Saudis and Islam.

Some Middle Eastern men are so immature.

Oh please.. the religious pests didn't even show up until 900 girls had gotten out of the school.. NO ONE prevented their leaving.

No one burned.. The 14 little girls were killed when the staircase collapsed. The building was filled with smoke NOT fire.

    Looks way gay!

Especially the younger boys dancing with older men...

Yeah, I know it's Arabic custom since genders socialize seperately.

I can't help wondering why Margot is not responding to the OP :chew:

On the other hand Abu, is this any different than virginity testing? Just as sick.

I'm a happily married man , but I admit Saudi women have the the most disturbingly sexiest bewitching eyes . They can make any red blooded male feel extremely uncomfortable with their flirtatious glances.

Ray-Ban sunglasses should be made compulsary.

    :)

A lot of research and discussions with Saudi journalists who are friends immediately after the event.

The building was old and overcrowded.. there was no fire.. Just smoke coming out of the attic..

The problem was that cruddy, old building which had been an apartment house.

The situation was PANIC not conflagration.

    The building is still standing.

There were some 900 plus girls in the street outside the school before the Mutaween arrived.. and before the staircase collapsed and killed the remaining 14.

I am responding because one screwball demanding a woman cover her eyes and the resulting assault on her husband is NOT national policy.. just a petty criminal event.

Isn't it nice that Saudi Arabia is sending millions and millions of dollars to Egypt to prop up their economy?

    Yes both are sick.
our women are beautiful yes and the eyes is cultural thing
BUT these nuts need to be stopped from stabbing men in the street and beating women for nothing!

If those Mutaween had not been there all those girls would have escaped and not still been in the building when that staircase collapsed!

    From the investigation.

Civil Defense stated that the fire had extinguished itself before they arrived on the scene. CPVPV officers did appear to object to Civil Defense workers going into the building, though at best their efforts slowed down the evacuation of the wounded. Human Rights Watch quoted a Civil Defense officer as saying,

"Whenever the girls got out through the main gate, these people forced them to return via another. Instead of extending a helping hand for the rescue work, they were using their hands to beat us."

Prince Naif is obviously going to be on the side of the Mutaween and not the Civil Defence and the witnesses who watched it all.

Last week we heard from the Minister of Finance Dept that less one 3rd of the pledged Gulf money has been received into Egypt. They were saying that they were trying to negotiate with the Gulf to get them to give what they pledged and that is why a month ago the talk was all about the IMF loans again because the help was not received.

It's different to pledge but something else to give it.

Just look at Haiti as an example

These pledges dont come without conditions. Many lives are lost because the donors require certain demands to be met before releasing the money if they do release it at all.
