Obama no longer has an excuse for blocking the the Keystone XL pipeline project. The new pipeline route developed by TransCanada will now avoid the environmentally-sensitive "Sandhills" in Nebraska.

If Obama is serious about putting 13,000 Americans to work to construct the pipeline - pipefitters, welders, mechanics, electricians, heavy equipment operators, among other jobs - in addition to 7,000 manufacturing jobs that would be created across the U.S., he must now move this project forward.

Furthermore, the concerns expressed earlier by the environmentalists who are petitioning Congress to block the project are now invallid as a result of a new pipeline route throiugh Nebraska.

"On Nov. 14, TransCanada announced it supports proposed legislation within the State of Nebraska to move the Keystone XL pipeline project forward. If passed, this legislation, introduced the same day in the State legislature, will ensure a pipeline route will be developed in Nebraska that avoids the Sandhills."

He's only doing it to placate the left so he doesn't lose any of their votes in 2012.
Once again, he cares more about him than us.

I'm not making this up, folks. I only call him on the carpet for what HE does.
Actions speak louder than words, and we all know his words are empty.

    HE WILL LOSE-

If this boob thinks temporarily satisfying his eco-weenie/Marxist base is enough to deliver another 4 years, he's gone 'round the bend....

and it's just another indication of how leftist environmental agenda and party power trumps American jobs, energy independence policies, and prosperity.

Its just proof that he believes in his ideology over actuality. everyone and their mother knows letting this project go forward is going to create jobs, yet he is stalling because of his ideology. He really is a boob.

    You are correct, Consmike.

Obama is the most incompetent president we have ever had.

It is almost as if he is purposefully trying to destroy our economy so he can replace it with some new socialist experiment that will never work, as Greece and Italy have recently proven!
