It's about time our neighbors to the great white north saw the light. I'm proud to call them my neighbors after rejecting the global wealth redistribution and foolishness. No one in the real world cares what France and Germany thinks. After all aren't they the same jackasses who started 2 World Wars in the last 100 years? Let them eat dung.

It's heart warming to see the fraudsters fail!!!

How dare they disrupt the trees and nature with their screams, noise, and insane howling!

Kyoto was a wealth grab from the start. Only the stupid liberals didn't understand it OR were perfectly alright with seizing others wealth.

The Kyoto comic strip was signed by Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chretien in 1997 when his popularity was flagging and he suddenly discovered ecology.

Chretien, typically, was so uniformed he thought the whole thing was about power generation and commented "We make the power from water. We dam rivers. We have an advantage."

The idea was so poorly thought out that his cabinet had no idea he had done it, and Chretien displayed an incredibly shallow understanding what it was about, even for him who didn't track well with complex things beyond the level of shoe lace tying.

Then, during the cut backs of the late 1990's there was no provision for financing anything to do with meeting the protocols until 2004 when Liberal fortunes were foundering so badly Donald Duck was higher in the polls.

It was then the Liberals discovered that Canada is a northern latitude country, that the simple heating of homes even in the most southern latitudes meant that meeting the protocols was impossible, that buying "credits" would bankrupt the country.

The voters elected the Conservatives who have been consistent, that Kyoto is useless in curbing emissions so long as the world's biggest CO2 producers, China, USA and India are not involved.

I lived in the North East United States for 26 years. I know for a fact Canadians are very smart and smart enough to know a scam when they see one.

Until we get a majority government, and no more non confidence calls. Hehe.

Then everyone can see the measure of Harper who has brass set.

Harper was elected to a majority last may, or do you mean until he loses the majority.

He's not the most personable PM I've ever seen, and I date back to Uncle Louis....but he sure has a set of stones, make Trudeau look kind of tame.

I mean, Stephen had hand-cuffs on until his majority government, and he clearly, definitely is un-shackled now.

    Trudeau <spit>.

    OK, got it now.

I was a political reporter for radio in the Trudeau years, Joke Lark et all

The guy was a classic prick, but he had stones. I believe Mulroney the crony did more damage to Canada in seven years than Trudeau did in 12.

But I sure do like this guy Harper. He may have had his hands tied but he did not hesitate to use the minority status as an excuse...he took on the issues and let the lefties self destruct...

So say good bye to the Kyoto Komics, the Gun Registry and a bunch of other crap and then there's the fact we remain one of the strongest economies in the world...

    Canada' Reagan?

Ah.....may I ask which 'people' you are calling fat and stupid?

Just a suggestion, but one who is flying the flag of a discredited and defeated government might want to be very careful what he says about flags generally and refrain from insults specifically.
