We have a war on drugs and a war on terror. How else are politicians going to justify continually increasing the size and scope of government without actually Having to demonstrate any results. Once the imaginary cold war evaporated something had to be found that could potentially last forever, and yet could continue to exist without having any possibility of measurable results or accountability for meeting goals.

Yes, most people do seem to look at the pre-cursors to the 2003 invasion of Iraq and subsequent destablization of the world as highly suspicious. There is historical precedent for even such a diabolical act of desperation and greed as 9/11 - the American gov. did something similar to enter the Vietnam war by fabricating a gunboat incident that legitimized US escalation. That, plus the sheer number of credible experts from many different nations who cast serious doubt in NIST's version indicates US government involvement.
Sorry but the NIST study is very sound. Most of the supposed critics make the simple mistake of talking about melting temperature of steel which is not germain to what actually occured.

Actually they don't but I,would be curious about why if you are ao bored you brought up the topic. Could it perhaps be that you really don't have enough of a sciencs/engineering education to understand the studies or is it perhaps that like most critics you never actually bothered to read the studies.
