But only for....drum roll please......3 days!

    Huh? You may be asking......

From December 22nd - Dec 24th, the sun is at the lowest point in the sky. On Dec 25th, some thing magical happens - it moves 1 degree. Also during the time the sun is at its lowest point, its around the area of the southern cross constellation.....hmmmm died on a cross, 3 days/resurrection....hmmmmm

Here is some more food for thought:

The brightest star in the east (Sirius) lines up with Orion’s Belt on Dec 25th and points to the sun which is rising 1 degree. Orion’s Belt consists of 3 stars. Hmmm.....3 kings following the brightest star in the east...hmmmm....

Lets dig into this just a little further. A virgin Birth. Inspired by the Virgo consolation. Virgo in Latin means virgin. Virgo has also been know as the house of bread. This is because the Virgo symbol is holding some wheat. She is holding the wheat to symbol Aug/Sept as the harvest months. Ironic enough, Bethlehem translated to English means house of bread. hmmmm....born of a virgin in Bethleham....hmmm......

This holiday season, lets let reason reign supreme. Happy Winter Solstice everyone!

This scripture applies to 'EVERY DAY' as they are all good when one is 'in the Lord!'

    Psalm 118:24 (NASB)

"This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

[Thx, Stones, for the 'opportunity' to post some scripture....]

    Matthew 25:31-34
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

    Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me,

I'd rather be 'His Sheep" than "the Goats!!"

Sheep herd and can be shepherded---but goats are rebellious and 'do their own thing.'

Atheists on this board amuse me when they whine about how pushy Christians are.

Ironic how one can be a believer yet have a 'no bull(*)(*)(*)(*)' symbol as their avatar.

I enjoyed the 'pun. It's too bad you, who are one of the many self-proclaimed elitist, pseudo-intellectuals who 'haunt' this forum, & who are above us/common ppl, never developed a sense of humor; but taking one's self so seriously usually results in the product of a boorish dullard.... cheers to ya

OverDrive, you always resort to two things:

    1 - Scripture
    2 - Ad Hominems

Either dispute the OP's original statement or quit trolling.

Thx for noticing! I was slipping and sounding like YOU when you troll & ruin threads. Oh, yeah, "hypocrisy" is a 1-way street to you whiners...when it's your thread, huh?! But, No problemo..an atheist Mod will come along a delete them.

[I'm just killing time til my out-of-town house guests get back from Phx---my 2 days of Jury Duty starting 2day was postponed til Jan 2012.

Then you boorish, dullard atheists can boor each other without interruption as we Christians enjoy the season...]

There is nothing wrong with that. Perhaps you missed the unsubtle digs at Christianity scattered throughout the OP's posts in this thread.

Please, enlighten me as to how that is ironic. Be sure to use your Voice of Reason when you do.

There’s abundance of evidence to suggest that religion is 'bull(*)(*)(*)(*)'. Yet you are a believer with a a no 'bull(*)(*)(*)(*)' avatar.

I see you wont dispute anything the OP says either. You just want to whine about atheists.
