In his speech at the International Conference on South Sudan, which was held in Washington recently, the Chairman of the US Congressional Foreign Relations Committee John Kerry has said that his country will not allow Sudan to bomb civilians in South Kordofan and Blue Nile states, accusing the Sudanese government of abandoning finding a solution to the issue of what he described as the marginalized people, and of allowing no access to humanitarian aid to these people. The Southern Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayaridt has renewed the accusations that Khartoum is supporting anti-government militias in South Sudan. The picture looks weird and confused as Kerry has no right to speak about areas of South Kordofan and Blue Nile as if they were American territories. Some observers say that the colonial mentality of Washington and some European countries is the reason for this behavior. Some could say that Washington as a super power is no longer giving concern to the sovereignty of states. However, countries do not summon US ambassadors to protest this intervention anymore. Kerry has said that although he is a member to a unique and old parliament that is supposed to respect the international charters and norms and not to release charges randomly. Whether the Sudanese government has bombed the civilians in the Blue Nile and South Kordofan or not, the UN is the body that will be responsible for such case not the US Congress. The UN did not raise any accusations in this regard. It seems that the man has forgotten the US deputy adviser of national security statement warning Juba of consequences of supporting anti-government rebels in Khartoum. It also seems he forgot that Sudan has submitted the Security Council a complaint supported by evidence that Juba supports armed rebellion in Sudan. The exchange of accusations between the two men whom seemed to be trying to divide roles has diverted the conference who was supposed to discuss means for handling issues of the newborn state in the South. All that happened while the UN was warning against a hunger threatening the lives of third of the populations in the South Sudan.
Sudani: Is Salva Kiir like John Garang? I know he is Dinka. Had hoped the worst was over last August with the Lou Nuer and Murle people. I just don't understand why Kerry is shooting off his mouth.
(I don't see how we can "contain" China.. they have invested billions in Sudan) It is too well known that America and Israel have been instrumental in the division of Sudan by exacerbating contradictions between Muslims and Christians. America is also active in Nigeria to create roadblocks for China so far as oil supplies are concerned. Every one knows about America-India nexus to contain China; nevertheless, China is poised to become worlds number one economic power within a decade, according to American think tanks. Having all said, an independent high-level, high-powered probe under the Supreme Courts oversight has been instituted to know the truth and the whole truth about the memo. http://pakobserver.net/detailnews.asp?id=131757
China is number one NOW! http://www.hiiraan.com/news2/2011/Dec/uk_censured_over_evil_plans_for_somalia.aspx And pray tell.....Who bank rolls the USA? But as I said previously on another post.......it depends on the media outlet you choose! http://macedoniaonline.eu/content/view/19779/2/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-16063607 http://www.eutimes.net/2011/05/china-warns-us-against-war-with-pakistan/ http://maritimesecurity.asia/free-2...inst-outside-interference-in-south-china-sea/ I could post many a link....but it would mean you'd have to be open minded! Grab that bone...it might help with your dogma! Regards Highlander
With the record that the Muslim north Sudan has had with the non-Muslim south of the "nation", there hardly has been any need for exacerbating by anyone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Bok http://www.thefrancisbokfoundation.org/about-francis-bok/ [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfD2SHlkPOE"]Francis Bok: Story of an escaped slave from Sudan - YouTube[/ame]
South Sudan animists have certainly been victimized by Marxist Christians for nearly three decades... and the UN gun confiscation programs opened the door to genocide. What a mess. I used to love Asmara.
