Lets call a spade a spade.

Any Ron Paul supporter or anyone else from Evangelical to fiscal conservative who would vote third party or even cheer on an Obama win is an Obama supporter.

True conservatives see this man as the most damaging president to this country in modern history. Knowing this anyone who doesn't get their perfect republican candidate and would cheer on Obama to win is an Obama supporter.

No more pretending. Any of the GOP candidates would not govern from the far left as Obama has done. And most importantly they would put in Conservative judges which is where the law is now fought. To cheer for Obama is to cheer for more liberal judges who base their rulings off emotion not the law and spit upon almost everything conservatives believe in.

Even if you don't like any of the GOP candidates you have to admit they would be answerable to the GOP just like Obama is answerable to the far left. If you refuse to vote for someone who only believes in at worst 50% of what you believe and cheer on someone who believes in 10% of what you believe you are a supporter of the latter and you will be called as such.

Just as long as you call us classical liberals, like our founders. Meanwhile, I'll call the GOP what they have become...imperialist/progressive/globalist/corporatist/authoritarian/totalitarian

Bush raised federal spending more than any president since FDR.

Obama is not even a liberal, he is: imperialist/progressive/globalist/corporatist/authoritarian/totalitarian

Nobody cares about your slanders. We're voting for smaller government, more liberty and less policing of the world. This makes us more conservative than you.

The GOP has lost all credibility when it threaten us into supporting their big government progressives by warning us of big government progressive Democrats.

We're voting Ron Paul. You're going to lose the election because you didn't want to nominate him.

If you don't nominate Ron Paul you're a secret liberal for giving the election to Obama.

Great thread. One of them, today, admitted that they would vote for Obama just to "punish the Republicans for not nominating Paul". The same one who, the day before, said he goes out of his way to run over American flags in the road, and wouldn't (*)(*)(*)(*) on them if they were one fire. Great Americans, eh?

I don't think they believe Romney, or Gingrich, or whoever else gets the nomination, is worse than Obama. They just have the mentality that they'd rather join the German army than support FDR.

Voting for Newt or Romney is liking voting for Obama. You will get the same crap either way. More wars. More spending.

    Wake the (*)(*)(*)(*) up.

No, that would turn into a "personal attack" that could be reported to moderators. If you use the search feature, though, you can probably find out who I was talking about. I quoted him fairly well.

OK. IMO American flag is nothing to be proud of at the moment when those so called brave, gun totting patriots and militias sat around watching fox news experts tellilng them "these people had no business buying homes in the first place, they're unqualified, idiots" - about the tens of millions of American families who lost their homes to the banks which were bailed out by that exact same government of Bush and Obama. Anyone who dislikes the flag or the government, I understand them for reason I just explained. just like I understand anyone who is angry at Jesus, mistakenly confusing him and god with all the hypocrites who hide behind Christianity for protection.

    I agree.

As much as I dislike the other Republican candidates, I hate what Obama has done to the country. I'll vote for the Republican candidate as long as it isn't Gingrich. I may not like it, but it is waaaaay better than Owebama. Paul, as a third party, has no chance. However, Paul still has a chance to win the nomination. Everyone has a chance.

Nonsense. "W" was the most damaging president in US history. Look at the way he drove up deficits and enacted massive entitlements and went to war abroad. His presidency decimated the GOP in 2008 and led to Obama.

Simply put, I can't stomach another idiot GOP candidate who does not have a conservative bone in his body, nor do I need the bad press for conservatism. People now associate conservatism with this clown.

Of course, every time I close my eyes I can't get the picture of Romney and Bush sitting together smiling as Bush endorses Romney. In my opinion, this endorsement only hurts Romney, and not help him in any way.

    Enough!!

You will never be more conservative than us if you would cheer on Obama. The difference between us is I would vote for Paul if he was the GOP nominee because I know as a real conservative nothing is more important than defeating Obama. The very fact you would pick Obama is what makes you a liberal.

No, that's just you trying to shame me into doing what you want me to do.
Voting for Ron Paul makes me a libertarian, not a progressive Democrat.
If you can't carry the election for Romney with what's left of your base after chasing Ron Paul out of the nomination process (if your ilk succeeds) that's your lapse in judgement, not mine.

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Ron Paul, not a vote for Obama.

The GOP has destroyed itself. What I'm seeing is neocons already conceding the election and looking for a scapegoat. "We're gonna lose because those pesky libertarians won't vote for whichever statist we tell them to!"

are these the same "true conservatives" who vote for global collectivists, corporatists, and bank worshiping crony capitalists time and time again?

Indeed, those are the true conservatives he speaks of. In the mind of true(ly brainwashed) conservatives, the only issues we should care about are preemptive war and crony capitalism.

A great question, but don't expect a honest answer from the GOP sheep.

Is Newt a liberal because he said he wouldn't vote for Ron Paul?

Now back to your regularly scheduled partisan shillery.

Newt's a liberal because he is a self-described "third wave futurist" and Bill Clinton's best pal.
