Seriously??? You claim that you want a small government but at the same time you want it big enough to peak through keyhole of my bedroom to see if I'm wearing a condom?!?! Santorum bubble just busted...

States do have the right to pass whatever statutes they want, as per the 10th amendment.

It is a state right, although I highly disagree with him that states should take such actions.

Fail. He wants a smaller Federal Government. He is supporting the rights of the individual states to make this kind of decision, which is how the system was designed in the Constitution.

What if I don't use condoms, will I go to jail if I'm married and my wife is not getting pregnant? You know condoms is just one way of contraception, I could be pulling out just before... If my wife is not getting pregnant it means I'm either braking a law or having health problems. Would my wife or me have to go through medical evaluation in order to prove that I'm not breaking The Law?

    This is REALLY REALLY hypothetical.

I can't imagine any state banning contraception......but indulging the same hypothetical scenario, I have to agree with Santorum: A state should have the ability to make such a law.

He doesn't seem to be endorsing the specific idea of the law here as much as their right to create such a law.

I guess states technically have the right to ban contraception, but it would be one of the dumbest and most authoritarian things a state could do.

An uncomfortably true statement about blacks, and now a defense of the Constitution. No wonder liberals are hating him so much.

Free to do anything you want? No. There are laws to obey. If contraception is outlawed, then you can move to another state where it remains legal.

Don't encourage him. Several people have tried to step in and fill Lord Meme's shoes, but their efforts have fallen short, thus far.

So it's ok when Santorum gets quoted as saying it.....but when Ron Paul has a newsletter that he didn't write have comments with racial overtones its the worst thing to hit politics?

    (*)(*)(*)(*)s funny.
