Thank God we have the Minsitry of Truth to protect us from this ungrateful soldier!

(Do you really believe it was a technical difficulty?)

Forget the propaganda cable news and network BS fake news.

Go talk to a real Soldier, one that served in combat in the infantry.

Go to your local VFW, don't be afraid, That's where you'll find them.

Ask, them what war is like.

Most will say, "you'll never understand untill you have served.

And they will tell you the real deal.

Learning about the military via the news is like learning how to become a lion tamer by watching Sigfreed and Roy.

He did a big no no in promoting a candidate in uniform as an active duty troop.

    That's his ass.

He's also in deep (*)(*)(*)(*) from his command

    http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/fm/27-1/Ch10.htm

    ATTENDING POLITICAL MEETINGS

When not in uniform, soldiers may attend both partisan and nonpartisan political meetings or rallies as spectators. While soldiers may go to these rallies, they may not speak before a partisan political gathering of any kind to promote a partisan political party or candidate. The limitations on soldiers participating in public demonstrations also apply to participating in political meetings. That is, soldiers cannot do so when on duty, while in uniform, while on post, and so forth. Furthermore, soldiers may not attend partisan political events as representatives of the Army, even though they do not actively participate. (See AR 600-20, Appendix B.)

Soldiers may also join political clubs and attend meetings when not in uniform. However, they may not serve in any official capacity (for instance, as officers) or be

This BTW applies to all branches of the military.

I don't know why he might have been censored by CNN, and as much as I might agree with what he might have to say, I still would caution against making remarks like that while in uniform..

Either he was asleep in boot camp, totally forgot or is a poser would be the only reasons. This crap is taught within the first week of basic. They can actually participate in political events OUT OF UNIFORM while on liberty or leave.

Ummm....Army rank is worn on the chest, not on the sleeve. On your left sleeve is your current unit and on the right is the American flag (subdued IR colors in combat zones, colored in US) with a unit patch that you deployed with.

Correct. UCMJ is clear about this.

A perfect example of the mindset of Americans in the short time after 9/11. GWB ramped up the rhetoric to the level that some guy would have a tattoo of the trade centres and "9/11" on his neck, he joins up to get some revenge, and subsequently, after serving two tours in Afganistand, realises that it's a load of bollocks, and is achieving nothing.

You're all missing the point of regardless of whether or not he broke USMG, CNN still censored him.

I personally care less what the code is.

Active duty personnel are not allowed to involved with political campaignes nor foreign policy. There was another serviceman who got into trouble for campaigning with one of the Republican candidates.

Army rank is not on the sleeve and hasn't been for years while wearing cammies. Right now in this uniform it is on his chest.

The part that has been addressed already if the part where he is not allowed to be in uniform supporting a certain candidate. But the other part that strikes me as odd, he is an E-4 in the army after being in for 10 YEARS:omg:. That is way too long to stay an E4.

That is even more weird cause they usually gain rank even faster. At least getting E5 is normal very quick.

Promotion often requires changing units and a reassignment. It's not uncommon for people to retire from the guard/reserves as E-5 or 6.
