As we all know, 80% of the voters are party line voters, leaving the remaining 20% to decide elections. Who did the best among independent and liberal voters?

Among moderates and liberals: Paul 40% Romney 35%. Nobody else was close.
Among independents: Paul 43%. Nobody else was close.

What sets these two apart is *why* moderates and crossovers went his way.
People who wanted a "true conservative" went for Paul 37% and Santorum 36%. Nobody else was close.
People who wanted to "defeat Obama" overwhelmingly went for Romney at 48%.
The numbers above show that these people were mistaken in doing so.

That is what you get when you listen to Faux news, you miss the people that aren't part of the establishment and won't make much "controversial" news by starting unconstitutional wars by making (*)(*)(*)(*) up. Propaganda is what they like, and they wont get it with Paul correcting and fixing everything.

Funny all the numbers point to Paul as electable, but the RWM insist Romney is the canidate that can win.

Obama has been the best thing that happened to Faux News. Pushing Romney and ensuring Obama a second term means 4 more years of profitable political fear mongering by the network. Fear sells, and the RWM needs a democrat president to rake in those advertisers dough.

i bet if you looked, Since Obama was elected Fox has probably been doing its best. Now who would want to give that up?

It is a REPUBLICAN PARTY LINE primary.

If what you show is true..Paul will get LESS support going forward than he did in IOWA.
IOWA let those independents switch and he still finished 3 rd.

    Other states wont do that.

Romney is the most favored to beat Obama.
    At this point in time.

    You think Santorum can ?

Among Republicans...to bad they can't win an election on their own. The people you need to support are the ones that can get the independents and moderates like Ron can. So what if Romney gets 25% and wins the GOP nomination, that means he still LOSES to Obama who only loses Indies and even democrats to Ron.

And when the GOP keeps insulting Ron Paul and his supporters, AKA independants, by calling them names and false manikers like Isolationist or ignorant, you will definatly lose.

Actually, Paul should do better in most States than he did in Iowa. Iowa is more evangelical than average.

Ron Paul could easily win the election, but there is a good chance they'll rig the primaries.

That's a good point. Not only that, it's a whiter state than most, and Ron Paul is the most popular Republican to African Americans.

Well, when the shoe fits...They have been lying and spinning what Ron has said for months now. Every time they talk about him, they totally misquote his policies on the middle east or drugs or anything else they want to keep him from getting support. Surprisingly they don't bring up his stance on DOMA or getting rid of the federal law that makes abortions legal.

Of course he's the most electable. So many of his supporters are Liberals and Democrats.

But regardless of what the exit polls say, Ron Paul will never be able to overcome the fact that corporate America doesn't like him or trust him, and you aren't going to win elections without bank money.

It's a fact of the country we live...no corporate money, no election, and the GOP brass knows it.

I hate say it by I agree. I will continue to support Ron Paul and his ideals that I share with him long after but in the end it comes down to money.

Mitt has the banks hand far far up his ass. And that cost money. They are his biggest contributers.
