The buzzphrase "social justice" is something to be feared. Obama has used this phrase for a long time. It's part of the heartbeat of the Occupy movement as well. Justice for all - but not the kind of justice you think. http://nation.foxnews.com/van-jones/2012/01/10/van-jones-issues-warning
Van Jones.... he wants a violent overthrow of whitey, nothing less. And his version of justice? Taking what others have worked for to give to others who simply aren't willing to work and think society owes them. They better be careful what they pray for. Many people are prepared.
Yeah, well when they come for my stuff....they'll probably get it. But I can guarantee that the first, second and third guy through my door won't be sharing in the spoils.
The economy should work for everyone instead of being rigged to make a few people win and everyone else lose. It's funny how republicans are always against justice, fairness, equality, safety, opportunity, and the environment but then they say they aren't mean, selfish, people who want to poison the air and kill grandma.
It does, you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort. That's the problem with liberals they are just to stoned or lazy to even try, yet want what folks who work hard have anyway. I have no use for the terminally lazy, they reap the harvest of what they sow.
I'm not gonna say that those who believe in Social Justice are lazy. I would say they are Mentally Weak, they don't understand that such justice is no more then government taking over completely as they are placed as the ultimate arbitor of outcomes. It never works and leads to single party rule, if that is Fascist or Communnism (Chinese type, I see no real difference between the two) or better called Tyranical Government that ends up being bad for everyone except the few, very few. No middle class can survive in this type of Rule, just not allowed. As we see in China now, as the Middle Class starts to emerge the Government starts to be placed under a microscope and the people start to react negatively towards it. They want a fair shake that "Social Justice" will not nor will it ever be able to do.
Ooooohhhh!!! What these "Obama as a dark and mysterious threat" OP's and threads need is SPOOKY MUSIC behind them! Here, try hearing this while you read about the horrors planned on MLK day! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh2ytI3PquY"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh2ytI3PquY[/ame]
No one loses. Not winning and striking it rich may not be winning, but its not losing either. Justice is granted by courts, not bureaucrats. What is fair about a guy who scrapes by on 19-20k a year working his ass to the bone, and then he sees people who don't work at all leading a higher quality of life than he does and it is granted by Government using his tax dollars? Economically we are not "all created equal", only in the eyes of the court system are we all equal. Economically some are superior to others either by birth or merit. Too bad you refuse to accept that fact. You can thank the GOP for the drop in crime we've experienced. Liberals enhance crime by giving the most amount of poor people possible "idle hands". Opportunity is siezed, it is not granted from above by some higher power, especially not Government. We can have a clean environment without destroying profitable businesses. There is a huge difference between conservation, and preservation. Conservation is the reasonable use of a natural resource. Preservation is the unreasonable claim that a natural resource should never, ever be used or exploited in any form. The liberal environmental movement are preservationists, not conservationists. Are you seriously trying to claim that only Democrats have a moral standing in America? LMAO As long as democrats believe the above line as you stated, then no reasonable debate is possible and this country will grind on in gridlock forever.
exactly...liberals listen to those whacked out scientific academic leftwads... while conservatives get their environmental expertise from the job creators.....who knows better what is safe to dump in the water, than the very guy who is dumping the (*)(*)(*)(*) in there???
Bull (*)(*)(*)(*) he doesn't. A single man who makes even below the federal poverty limit still pays a couple hundred a year in taxes. It astonishes me how little the liberal middle class knows about the subject they claim to know so much about, life of the poor in this country.
justice, fairness, equality, safety, opportunity and the environment have subjective meanings of late. Anytime I hear someone address a political party negatively while stating that the economy should work for everyone, I know without a doubt that their solution involves some sort of central planning to provide privilege to whatever group they determine to be the victim.
