In what I can only imagine is an attempt at getting the VP nomination, Huntsman has decided to drop out and endorse Romney.

That's too bad, I was hoping he would get the nomination.

Thoughts? Will the GOP ticket be Romney/Huntsman?

Unlikely.. a bit too moderate of a ticket. A lot of mainstream appeal, but this is unlikely to excite many of the far right.

I do agree that Huntsman is making a move for VP with such a quick endorsement, though.

It's not necessarily shady. They said he though NH was his best shot, if he can't get over third there he sure as hell won't in middle America.

They are certainly dropping like flies aren't they? Now if only Gingrich would drop out and this would be an interesting 2-man race.

Why is anyone surprised? One liberal endorsing another liberal. No surprise, it should have been expected

I am saddened to hear it but frankly, I couldn't see him beat Obama in the debates. I do think it was a little early.

What are these candidates to do when Obama has raised millions for his re-election campaign? Guys like Jon don't stand a chance without the financial backing.

If indeed he is chosen for Romney's V.P. I would be happy that Romney beat Obama. Romney wasn't my first choice but rather him than Paul or Perry. I really like Jon and his take on the economy.

I think the two of them together will be dynamite if they have the right campaign team and managers. Go Romney and Huntsman.:-D

This is just a travesty. I mean, there are two very disappointed Republican voters nationally who are crying their eyes out. Hopefully they are comforting each other.

So a Romney/Huntsman ticket? Hmmm? Well, that would bring the two Huntsman voters to vote for Romney I suppose.

yup, I agree, Cheney was smarter (by IQ) than Bush.

Bush telling our enemies "to bring 'em on" while our men and women were in danger would tell anyone just how smart he was.

But, Cheney had (has) no street smarts. But, he was more evil.

everything from Iraq to trying to privatize social security (had Cheney gotten away with that the bailouts would have been so huge that China would have foreclosed on us.)

Well, the friend certainly apologized to Cheney enough for almost getting killed and all the trouble he caused him.

LOL. The only thing we know for sure is that they were out in what amounts to Auschwitz for animals (they were hunting (*)(*)(*)(*)ing quail in a fenced in area... how fail is that?). They had some unknown women with them and there was alcohol involved. Also Cheney didn't visit his "friend" in the hospital until the end of the next day....

Everything else about the event comes from his mouth, and I wouldn't trust something out of Cheney's mouth even if he payed me to...
