We all are told over and over again about the jewish Holocaust. But what about the Ukrainian famine in which 14 million died as a result on intentional policy? Both "Holocausts" happened at around the same time period, but more than twice as many Ukrainians and Georgians died as a result of the persection against specific nationalities and ethnicities than the number of jews that died. (not only that, but many of the jews who died may have actually died from the russian occupation rather than intentionally being killed by the nazis) http://www.artukraine.com/famineart/stvictims.htm http://www.infoukes.com/history/famine/serbyn/ So why is such a big deal made about the jews in public schools, and nothing said about the Ukrainian famine?
i talk (12 years ago) with person who worked in Ukraine at that time. he was in a teem which utilized human corpses, and one one who saved NKVD "payment" and Haladamor is not a fake. i m sorry for your mother they have waisted a lot of time and money , you are the bad person.
It doesn't carry the same weight because the brutality was a lot slower and dying by gas chamber is more horrific than starvation. More people died in Russia also but that doesn't receive the attention of the holocaust either. Your basic answer is that the Jewish holocaust affects people more because of the way it happened. Had Hitler chosen to just starve the Jews the impact wouldn't be as great.
