I don't understand the reason of why hate crimes exist. I mean the actual law. Isn't it already against the law to assault another person? I really could care less about his reasons, just that he did it and should be held responsible under the full authority of the law.

Race relations are deteriorating between whites and blacks. This is only going to get worse as different groups fight over a pie which is shrinking in relative terms. The country is a zero sum game.

It generally allows for the inequality of a victim of same race assault to only be protected by misdemeanor laws, and victims of different race assault to be protected by felony laws. There is one caveat: a black attacking a white MUST utter a racial slur or his assault will only be assumed to be a non-hate criminal assault by the progressive establishment.

What's the difference between beating someone because of their skin and beating someone because of their wallet? Why should they get different sentences when they committed the same crime?

The degrees of murder is not good example, since the differences are more apparent. First degree murder was planned in advance. Second degree murder was not.

Why should race come into charging people with crimes? It's just another form of racism, holding people of different skin color to different standards.

I have to say... when I first saw your response I was impressed and thought I would really have to totally re-think my position. Then I started clicking the links to find that only 2 were in the last week time frame. However, that is significant enough for me to consider that there are more racists out there than I may have previously believed. So I must give you some credit for the work.

However, there is also not as much racism as you are trying to indicate with your thread title and O.P. While you are being intellectually dishonest, you have scored some points. If you would just do it honestly, your views would carry more weight and be held in more regard. Try a more honest thread title for starters.

In all seriousness, they should be sent to prison for a very long time.

 

It's a shame that it has come to this, but it is what it is. One must maintain situational awareness. If someone comes too close and makes the slightest wrong move one must act instantaneously. Some innocent young black men will get killed because of the fear experienced by old white men as a result of the violence of other young black men. This is not conjecture. It's now a statistical probability.

 

The establishment should have nipped this in the bud.
