Typical attack on a statement that is not in context with the totality of the mission. To rebuild the American job base.

The POOR have the safety nets in place but without a vibrant economy even that net is threatened.
How anybody could think that is somehow against anti- POOR Voter is CLASS WARFARE.
Without a strong economy there is NOTHING for anybody.
Only the idiots would think otherwise.

He paid taxes at the highest income bracket, took his after-tax money and invested it, and now is being taxed 15% a year on that investment income.

George Soros did the same thing, I'm sure.

Blame the media. I've been watching FOX, CNN and MSNBC and they all are kissing Mitt the Twit's "behind".

Lefties conveniently forget that part over and over again.

Romney has it right. Bleeding heart liberals have ensured that no citizen [and (*)(*)(*)(*)ed near every illegal] has access to food, medicine, housing and schooling.

I wouldn't worry about them either.

You mean Romney is looking to pay -15% in taxes? Wow, if that was true, I am shocked. But then again, I know coming from the left, it is a lie.

Bill Clinton, (during rough times for some) - "I feel your pain"

Mitt Romney (during rough times for many) - "F' your pain"

Aren't Mormons supposed to be altruistic?

Yeah, I'm really sure Clinton felt the pain of poor people.

And Romney gives something like 15% of his income away to charity. How much does Obama give?

He can't win, can he? If he doesn't give his money away to charity, he's greedy. If he gives it away (like he does), it's just a tax writeoff.

There's no reasoning with dishonest liberals.

It looks like Obama gives about to 14% to charity.....

    http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/incometaxandtheirs/a/Obama-2010-Tax-Return.htm
But that is ~15% of earned income to charity.......not 15% of his purely investment income.....

Ah, so this all goes back to the bigotry you have against Mormons, then. Thanks for clearing that up for us.

    Nope.
Going up agaianst Obama and the economic recovery while constantly shoving both feet into his silver spooned mouth makes it impossible. But hey, I'm not concerned about the serial liar.

    More like 1%

You don't think Obama has capital gains?

And it doesn't matter where it comes from. Romney is giving 15% of the money he earns (and yes, investment is earned income), while Obama and Moochelle give 1%.

Obama's an atheist. How does that work for you "evangelicals"?

Just admit it. He's black, so you will vote for him. Come on, the truth will set you free.

You're confusing the reason you won't vote for him, with the reason I will

From 2000 to 2004....are you kidding? I just gave you Obama's numbers from 2010. Romney won't even release multiple years of tax returns......and, believe me.....that one's not going away.

Romney makes all his money off of investments...except for that minute $400K in speaking fees........ which is just about this size of Obama's annual paycheck that he certainly earns. Sure he has capital gains, but he also continues to live off of labor whereas Romney is living off of the interest and dividends from a huge pile of money. It's no contest.....you're never going to win an argument in this regard.

Romney has given consistently to charity, while the Obama's gave a paltry 1% of their income to charity. They only increased it when their cheapskate giving would become a political dagger for them and to convince people like you that they are big givers to charity.

Obama's expenses are paid for by the American tax payer. He spends nothing out of his salary.

And like I asked you before, you really don't think Obama has capital gains?

Romney has worked hard to acquire his wealth, and his investment money is helping to fuel the economy. He doesn't have to give any of that money away to charity, but he does. A lot more than Obama gives, in fact. I already win the argument by default, because your "argument" is nothing but envious and petty class warfare rhetoric. He has more than you because he has done more. Deal with it.

Pretty easy for Obama to give 14% to charity when all of his vacations and food and living arangements are provided by the tax payer. Lets factor in how much he gets from the "perks of the job" into his income and see how much he actually give in % wise to charity.

Obama makes his money off of book written by others in his name. If we are going to go strickly off actual work like speaches or pay checks, then Obama is at roughly 100% while Romney is at 4000%. But hey, these are just playing with numbers stats and can be twisted by which ever way you specifically want to look at them. To be "fair", use the same numbers when making comparisons, or else it is apples and oranges.
